Morning ladies. I have been a nervous wreck all morning. I had some light pink spotting last night when I went to the bathroom and I just knew that i was going to lose this baby as well. I didn't tell DH. I asked our head of x-ray about what would show up on an ultrasound at 6 weeks. He said an abdominal u/s would show the sac and fetal pole maybe but not much else. He could tell I was concerned because he is the one that did the u/s when I had the m/c so he had a few spare minutes and offered to do one. I got my first pic. He found the gestational sac and the fetal pole. The sac is very high up on my uterus so he said that's a good thing. If i was going to m/c the sac would be lower and towards the cervix. He said that I have a cyst on my left ovary which is no surprise because dr said if I wasn't pregnant by March he was going to remove my left ovary because it's in bad shape. However, Billy said everything looked good and on time for being 6 weeks. I didn't get to see the heartbeat but he said that was very unlikely anyway unless I had a transvaginal and we don't do those here. Anyways. Now I can relax and catch up on posts. I have just been kind of holding my breath. After having a m/c, it's hard to get over that fear which i know all of you understand. Thanks for listening and when I get home, I will scan my pic and show ya'll. I get an u/s at the dr office next week so hopefully we will have a heartbeat.

What a relief! That was really cool of your x-ray guy to do that for you, it's nice to have people around who care about you.

oh Gosh Jennifer, I was about to start crying.....I'm glad that everything looked good!
It is scary to be pg after a loss and to have spotting on top of that it's well worse. Was he able to tell you where the spotting came from or what it was? I'm so glad everything is looking good and i can't to hear about your appointment next week.

He said that I have a cyst on my left ovary and he said that they can cause spotting so i'm hoping that's all it is. He said everything looked great so i'm praying for everything to turn out fine.

I'm so glad all is well. It seems like lots of us have had that little bit of spotting that completely freaks you out. I cried for hours when I spotted with this pregnancy, last time it was bad, this time it was nothing. I can't wait to hear about next week's u/s.
