She was having contractions this morning, her and I were pinging back and forth. She decided to wait and see what would happen. After lunch she decided to call her doc and see what he said. She was told to go to the hospital. She was admitted and they checked her cervix, took blood, gave her an ultrasound, gave her meds to stop the contractions and was told to wait it out and see.
I just pinged her again to check on her, I keep doing it every 10 mins or so! Asking her if they're sending her home, she said "nope I'm staying!" I asked her what that means, if they're taking Ella now, and she said she doesn't know. She said too many contractions, too close together.
So...ladies....I'm on here asking for prayers. It's too early for Ella to come, so she needs to bake a bit longer. Please, please, please send prayers and positive thoughts Jen's way.
I will keep everyone updated throughout the night. I don't know whether to cry for Jen, be excited, jump up and down or pray to the God's that Ella doesn't come yet. I love this girl!!!!
****
Received this from her at 8:09pm EST:
They just took my print out of contraction and Ella's h/b over to have it in L&D. Going to be evaluated and a report sent to doctor I guess. I don't know much other than I'm sitting here.
****
10pm:
Jen is staying overnight. DH has gone to pick up her clothing, toiletries and pillow. Please, PLEASE pray that they can keep Ella inside of Jen for another few weeks!!!!
****
10:55pm:
The nurse just took off the monitors. Said everything is staying pretty consistant, no changes, nothing crazy progressing. So Jen gets to have a break from the monitors to get some rest, and she is to let them know if ANYTHING changes. They told her she is probably in early labour, and they are going to watch her.
One thing about this girl...she still has her sense of humour!
****
12:30am:
Jen is going to try and get some sleep. Not sure what tomorrow will bring.
****
1pm:
Jen is hooked back up to the monitors right now. They are going to watch to see if the contractions make her cervix change at all. She didn't have any changes during the night. If her cervix doesn't change with contractions, she'll be sent home with meds. Her younger sister is with her right now to keep her company.
****
3:40pm:
I asked Jen if she'll be taken out of work (as per Michelle's question) and she says they haven't said yet. Have been on the monitor, contrax are good, few and far between. Cervix hasn't changed. Yay!! I'm gonna be released to go home on bed rest after a while.

Thanks Jessica for letting us know...I can't believe this is happening to her, I pray that Ella stays inside a bit longer. I know that they have a way to keep her inside, they did it with my SIL's baby.
Thinking about you Jen

Oh, I hope it stops and she can stay pregnant a little while longer. She is 32 weeks, right??? I have a cousin that was born around 31 weeks. She is 9years old now, and still a peanut. She only weighed 4lbs at birth...however, she went home within 3 weeks and thrived. Nobody wants to have a premie, so we will be praying for you.

Oh my goodness. Jen, Ella, and her family are in my prayers. I hope they are able to keep labor from progressing. We need to tell that little Ella that it's too early for her to come out and get her Christmas shopping done! The sales are better after Christmas!
Jessica, please let Jen know that she's in my thoughts and prayers. I'll light my prayer candle.
