So, we want to try really hard this month I am on CD9, and I don't temp or opk. I do have very normal 28 day cycles. So, I was going under the assumption that I will O around the 14th. But, couldn't it be a few days before or after??? We have been bding everyday (twice today tmi sorry) I want to make sure that you can't bd too much. Have any of you read about that anywhere? It seems like I may have, but can't find anything. Also, the midwife said to bd every other day...so it didn't become a chore. Well, a chore it is not so I just want to make sure it isn't hurting chances. Thanks for any input.

It's better to BD every other day so his sperm has built back up. You CAN do it everyday, but make it like every 24 hours. That way it's built up.

Good luck!!!!

I have asked this question to my OB. It totally depends on DH's spermies. If they are strong, then every day is ok. But if there is any issues then every day isn't good. My OB told me to do every other day and then the day I get a pos Opk. She told me that conception USUALLY happens prior to O. It's not impossible but more unlikely that conception will happen after Oing. I guess it takes long for sperms to get where they need to go. All i'm going to say, is i tried to get pregnant for 8 months BDing every day from CD10 to CD17. after my dr. said every other day, I did exactly what she said and I got pregnant that cycle. Sadly I M/C'd but I did get pregnant. Now i'm justing hoping it will work again!!!

Thanks Lynda. I will go with every other day, just in case. Hopefully, that will be what we need. We started trying in Feb, and it took until Oct. So, hopefully it won't take as long this time, and we will have a better outcome.

I personally, which is quite shocking...got pregnant from just DTD once. On O day. I wish it was like this in every case! Then there'd be no "TTC"!

That was me with my first pregnancy. And we used condoms that one time too!

Really is too bad it doesn't always work that way.
