My DH and I watch several shows during the week. We watch Heroes, Pushing Daisies, Bones, Fringe, House, CSI:NY, Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, ER, Ghost Whisperer, and Stargate Atlantis. All DVR'd of course. But we started noticing at least one of the shows we watch each week deals with a miscarriage, stillbirths, sick/dying children, or women who are murdered while pregnant. I understand it's going to happen with Private Practice - they have a fertility clinic, or ER - its and ER for crying out loud!, but it's getting ridiculus. I guess it's just one of those things that bothers me.

Yes, I have noticed this. In the past month, almost every show I watch has something to do with pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth, babies. It usually doesn't bother me, but every where I turn it's BABIES, BABIES, BABIES!!!

I have noticed it as well. As sad as the topic is, they are topics that need to be taken seriously and acted in a proper way, and I commend these producers and writers for doing the jobs they have been doing.

I've noticed it too. I'm a big Days of Our Lives fan, but it is getting sooo hard for me to watch right now. They have one story line where a girl miscarried but is still faking her pregnancy, another storyline with a pregnant girl, and a third where a parent has cancer. (I lost my Dad to cancer almost 2 years ago). There's some days I just want to scream.

I can't even get away from it with gameshows. I was watching the 30 minute Deal or No Deal on the CW, and this past week has been "baby on board" week, so the contestant and all of the women opening the cases are pregnant!
