Hello everyone. This is my first time on the TTCAL board.

DH and I just went through cycle Number 1.
We've gotten 3 faint positives on HPTs (1 at gyno's office)
2 blood tests. 1 that was at 5.6 and one at 6.?
If I am preg, it's really early.

Long story short. I've had cramping since I O'd, mainly on one side. Ultrasound shows excessive fluid behind uterus causing cramping. B/c my HPT at Gyno office was faint positive they thought it may be an ectopic pregnancy.

Went to hospital b/c was having shoulder pain, turns out it's attributed to tendinitis -- doc doesn't think it's ectopic anymore b/c it would be too early for me to be feeling the pain of it... plus I am not in severe pain. cramps are like AF cramps...

Today I have them worse... totally bearable though. I haven't gotten AF which was due on 12/9.

I go into OBGYN on tuesday for more blood test to check to see if my hormones are going up. I hope they are...

I had slight spotting today, just once, when I wiped tonight, and nothing since. What is this? Anyone have any ideas?

Doc says it could still turn out to be an ectopic pregnancy b/c they are 30/100 chances to have one. 40/100 to have a miscarriage.

Ugh.

Doc says the fluid is probably from a ruptured cyst that hasn't absorbed yet and should be better in a week.

I've had a lot of Pregnancy symptoms. Major fatigue, bb's getting fluffier, nausea, acne, cramping, backache, loss of concentration...

Anyway, I'm just looking for answers and thought this would be the best place.

First, I'm so sorry you're going through all of this...
You're really early. I think the doctors are looking at all of the possibilities to give you answers. Tuesday feels like its years away. And THEN you have to WAIT for the results. It stinks. But, all of this could be nothing. Spotting can be normal. So can cramps. I had both with my first pregnancy. My son is going to be 13. Don't give up! Congratulations on your BFP!!! I hope next week goes well. KUP. Take care of yourself.

I'm sorry to hear of your stress! Because that's exactly what it is!

Firstly, have you tested since your BFP at the doc's office? That could ease your mind a lot , to see how dark the test line has gotten.

Secondly, it IS normal to spot during your pregnancy. There are several women on here that have had spotting during pregnancy and they go on to have their babies. It could be implantation bleeding (IB) as well.

Good luck, and keep us posted!!!
