OK...I need to call my doc on Monday. But, because it's Saturday, I'm turning to my JM people for advice...I know you're not MDs...you're JMD's
Here are the basics...
I found out I was going to m/c on Oct 11
I bled off and on for over 2 weeks
Heavy bleeding and m/c was on Oct 27th.
Oct 30th u/s showed m/c was complete.
Nov. 20th AF started...that was really fast, but, OB office said that it was early, but not unheard of...
Dec. 13 AF is BACK!!! It's only been a 23 day cycle! I am like clockwork! I have 26 day cycles. Now I've had a 24 day cycle and a 23 day cycle. WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! And, I started temping, to practice for when we start TTC next month. My temps over the last two days went UP, significantly! I don't get it...
Is there something I don't know about? Is a 23 day cycle even long enough to try to conceive? HELP!
Kelty

It is totally normal for your body to be out of whack after a m/c. I charted and my cycles used to be pretty darn regualr with O on about day 16 and 12 day LP. So usually 28 days. After m/c my first cycle was very long, but my LP was very short. It doesn't necessarily matter how long your cycle is, but it does matter how long your LP is. As for your temp being up the last few days, I have no idea. Mine stayed up for a day last cycle after af showed, but otherwise I'm not sure. Is it a normal AF? Or is is really light? Hmmm...

Your cycles can be really off after a mc. I had a 25 day cycle 2 cycles ago and a 23 day cycle last cycle. If I don't get pregnant this time, it looks like I'll have a 21 day cycle!

As long as your LP's are 12 days long (some say 10 or more is ok) you should be good to get pregnant.

Honestly Kelty...I've had maybe 1 or 2 or even 3 NORMAL cycles since my m/c and it was 18 months ago! Almost everybody has wackey cycles after a miscarriage and it's normal to be like that.

Like Alicia mentioned, as long as your LP stays above 10 days, you'll be fine. If you do get worried though, talk to your doc about it.

I typically had roughly 30 day cycles before. Since the m/c I have had 28 days cycles to 45 day cycles. Luckily I knew that it might be like that so I didn't go through nearly as many BFNs as I probably would have normally.

My cycles were longer after my m/c then went to 24 days and now they are back up to over 30 days. My dr told me as long as your cycle is longer than 21 days and your LP is 10 or more you should be able to get pregnant.
