OK, wow this is hard to write. I've banned these boards since the loss, but I think I can handle it now Anyway, I miscarried, and had a D and C 5 weeks ago. I haven't had a period yet and it doesn't feel like one is coming on. I can't stand it because we want to start trying again ASAP. Anyone else who has had a D and C advice would help.
Thanks,
Angie

welcome angie! So sorry for your loss...you're very welcome to join us whenever you're ready to.

I had a d&c recently as well, and it took me 47 days before AF returned. My OB said normal range is 4-6 weeks post d&c, so mine was longer than expected, but I don't think they consider it long until 8 weeks or more have passed. Are you feeling otherwise ok? If so, try to be patient...you should get AF hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Good luck to you!

Angie,

First, I'd like to say that I'm sorry for your loss! I, like you, had to wait a few weeks before I could even think about coming back. I'm sure that your cycle will normalize soon. Did they do a beta hcg to see where your levels are at? Some docs do them. Some don't.

It's not a common thing to wish AF on anyone on these boards, but, I hope your cycle starts up again soon so that you can work on getting your next BFP!

I've found so much support on this board. I hope you find it as well.

I have a doctor's appoint on Thursday, so I'll find about about the blood testing. I'm just anxious to start trying again. My husband opened a fortune cookie that said "Something good will happen in 3 months" I don't think I can wait that long!

Angie, I'm so sorry for your lost, please feel free to post there if you feel confortable coming back.
I also had a d&c back in Feb, af showed up about 4 weeks after the d&c, my doc said that it would take anywhere from 4-6 weeks. I would ask your doc of Thursday.

Angie I am sorry for your loss

It took me almost 6 weeks to get AF back... I didn't have a D&C but a natural miscarraige.

I wish you the best!

Welcome to the board, Angie.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss!!!

I didn't have a D&C, but as I can tell, some of the other ladies have been able to help you out.

I hope you stick around, and good luck TTC!

Hi I'm so sorry for your loss . I had a D&C done in September. From what I was told AF could take 4-6wks to come back, so hopefully yours is just around the corner. Mine arrived about 25 days after the procedure.

Angie, KUP about your appointment on Thursday. I hope it goes well.
Hopefully the doctor will give you some more answers and you will be able to start TTC!
Good luck!

Angie, I am sorry for your loss but completely understand banning TTC boards. I did the same thing for over a month with my loss last November.
Sounds like you are still in the 4-6 week normal range for AF to show.
I hope she shows soon so that you can move on to TTC.
KUP on your Drs appt.
