So...last night I decided I didn't want to be all freaked out about this pregnancy and decided that DH and I needed some "adult" time...I figured we could do it missionary and it would be shallow enough that it wouldn't effect my cervix that much...so we did the deed...cleaned up and I went to bed...

And of course...

I wake up this morning and I'm spotting... So DH is freaking out of course...and I'm trying to calm him down (all the while freakin out deep down!) and ensuring him that its only brown...so it isnt a big deal...I'm not cramping...and its just because my cervix is swollen and engorged...

So I get to work and go directly to my docs office (like HER office...not the clinic)...and she told just to watch it and as long as it didnt get worse it was completely normal...

I have had aboslutely NO more spotting since before noon...

So...hard lesson learned...NO SEX UNTIL 2ND TRIMESTER!! Unless of course you like worrying to death!

Seriously!!! I feel like I'm being a heinous b!#@# because I won't just cave and dtd, but I just can't do it. Not until the 2nd trimester or at least until I hear the h/b. You just totally reminded me why. I am freaked out enough as it is, I don't need to worry about that on top of it.

I'm glad the spotting stopped!!!

Leave it to our Danielle to flirt with the DANGER ZONE

I think you're right, and it's fine - just scared you...when I was around 6 weeks my OB did some routine swabs/smears at one appt and she told me (and thank god she did or i would have PANICKED) that even though she touched it lightly my cervix immediately started to bleed...that it's perfectly normal (and my spotting was pink, not brown) and as long as it stopped w/in 1 day not to worry. SO QUIT WORRYING
