okay from what I knew, *gestational* age is the age of the fetus... not the time from LMP correct!?!?!?!?

Here are my results: HCG 178 H - not sure what the H means?

The table they attached is this....

Gestational Age ------------------- Expected HCG Values (mIU/mL)

<1 week ------------------- 5-50
1-2 weeks ----------------- 50-500
2-3 weeks ----------------- 100-5000
3-4 weeks ----------------- 500-10000
4-5 weeks ----------------- 1000 - 50000
5-6 weeks ----------------- 10000 - 100000

I was 14dpo on Monday when the blood test was taken.. Isn't that 2 WEEK GESTATIONAL??????? I am hoping to find out my results tomorrow, and see that the number doubled... So they are putting me in the 5 week category because LMP was 11/13/08... I know I had implantation spotting on Sunday at 13dpo.. What do you ladies think? My progesterone level before starting the pills was 36.. But until I know that my #'s have doubled, I am going to keep taking them...

Stephanie, I wish I could be more help with this, but I know that I won't be, I don't know anything about hcg levels,I did not get mine checked, I know there are many girls here that will be able to help you with it. I'll keep my finger cross.

That number sounds fine to me, but as you know it is the next one that matters more. With Samantha, my beta at 11dpo was only 13.7.

Yep, it's the next numbers that matter. You need to be doubling every 2-3 days. You're numbers are in the normal range right now. I still can't figure out what the nurse was saying to you and WHY?!?! I hope your numbers are great at your next appt.

The number sounds normal to me... I don't know why she was saying that either.. even when I said that I am not as far along as they think, she said it didn't matter that I would miscarry.. So I refuse to accept those words over my life/situation.. I still cry, but I'm believing that God has His plan, and it is not what this lady is saying.. It is so unethical of her to do this... put me in such stress and worry... Thank you!! I am calling first thing in the morning to see what they are.. then I'll pick them up, and will be seeing a different doctor on January 9th...

My BFF went for her blood draw at 10DPO and she was only at 14, she now has a 7 month old. Your numbers sound perfectly fine, Steph!!!
