For my "miscarriage" bleeding to only last 2.5 days? It started Tuesday morning with brown blood just spotting then red spotting then Tuesday night i was lightly bleeding, Wendesday I was bleeding all day not heavy like i suspected at all it was kind of just like the very end of a period, same Thursday then it ended completely yesterday around 5pm (Ive been using pads and tracking it per dr's orders). It doesnt seem like enough bleeding to me to be a complete miscarriage. It was never bad or heavy no cramping... is this normal? I have a follow up appointment with my GYN Dec 31st for her to check everything out because the nurses told me it should last longer than that, but it just doesnt seem like what I thought a miscarriage should be like. I was thinking heavy bleeding and major cramps. Is this not always the case?

I can't say but I'll bump this so others might share their experiences.
I started bleeding on Wednesday, I'd call it light-medium flow, Thursday was medium maybe heavy, and today is maybe medium? But I'm not sure how much longer it will last. But I expected the bleeding to be much much worse too. So I will mention this to my OBGYN because I'll obviously want to make sure everything is gone. They may have to do an ultrasound to check.
Yesterday I did have severe cramps though, I will say that for sure!

You were reall early. Early enough to be considred a chemical pregnancy really.
With my 2 chemicals I bled for 4-5 days, never very heavy and had no real cramping.

With my miscarriage, I started out with spotting on Friday morning, by afternoon it was heavy. No cramping, though. Saturday it was really painful and I had cramps like you wouldn't believe. I was crying I was in so much pain. Sunday it got lighter, and Monday it was gone.

hopefully since you were so early you won't have to have any of the major cramping..
With my miscarriage I was at 11 weeks and I was in severe pain, so much I was screaming and crying.. I made DH cry b/c i was hurting so bad.... I was rushed to the ER b/c of the excessive bleeding and pain.. I can honestly say I was in labor... contractions and everything full force.

I had a d&c so it's not really relate to your question. I just wanted to say that I hope that everything is ok with you.

I had a very early loss at 4wks 5 days and I started bleeding on Sunday. It's was medium flow. Nothing major. I had some cramping sunday night and then on monday and tuesday just spotting. That was about it for me. Everyone is different and I don't know how far along you were but if you were early, that might explain why it hasn't been that bad. I hope the worst is over and you can move on. KUP and I hope you get your sticky one soon.

With my first one I beld for almost 3 weeks with very heavy cramping the first week I was around 7 weeks. The second was very early and I only bled for about 3 days, it was very much like a regular period.
Hope you are doing ok. Just do what ever the doc says!

With my chemical pregnancy it was exactly like that. The next month was really heavy though. All of my m/c were very different. I don't think there is anything that is "normal" when it comes to loss.
and baby for a sticky BFP.
