Pulled out at 11:16am, weighing in at 6lbs 15oz and 19" long is Lil Miss Isabella (or Ella, still not sure) Marie!! She's doing wonderful! She was on oxygen right after birth, but is now on room air. She is having trouble keeping her blood sugar levels stable, so she's getting IVs currently.

Jen doesn't know how long she'll be in the hospital, or how long Ella will be in the NICU. I'm sure she'll keep me updated on how everything is going. When I BBMed her, she was just coming off the Spinal but was feeling ok.

Here's the little miracle! She's soooo darn cute!!!! Quite the chubster for a 34+4 weeker!



Update: They told Jen that it's looking like a 5 day stay, the earliest she can leave is Saturday. Hopefully they allow her and Ella to leave 2 days early so she can have her Christmas at home!!

Update: It's been a few days since Ella's arrival! She's doing great! She is off the IVs, and is eating. However, she isn't eating good enough to be sent home yet, and she now has jaundise. She is under the UV lights. I am hoping, praying, crossing everything that they send Ella home tomorrow...but by the looks of it, she won't be out of the hospital til Saturday. She's so cute! That is a BIG baby God bless her for 34 1/2 weeks! My youngest was born 35 weeks, 3 days and weighed 5.9 pounds, and I thought she was a good size.
