I needed to try something to increase my CM so I decided to try EPO this month. I was taking 2 pills a day, which was 2,000 mg. But instead of increasing it actually made me drier! I basically had no CM the entire cycle. Or if I did it was a scant amount. DH even commented how I was a lot drier this cycle. And of course for me dry sex=painful sex Ouch! The good thing about this is that it made my AF go from 10 days to 6 days. And i'm tempted to just continue on it for that very reason. I hate 10 day AF's.

So now next cycle I'm not sure if I should try robitussin/mucinex or just not taking any 'mucus increasing medicine', and see if my body will just do it on it's own.

if you want to increase your CM, increase your water intake. that will help alot. EPO doesn't do too much for me either. also i got a lubricant from our drug store called Preconceive Plus. It's a sperm friendly lubricant. there is also pre-seed sperm friendly lubricant. I am on clomid and when you take clomid, it really dries up your CM. i would recommend trying either of the two. G/L

oh also edited to tell you, robitussin/mucinex doesn't increase CM it just thins it. It's good to use, but it doesn't increase the amount of CM you have.

I never thought about using mucinex. I would definitely try something else. EPO makes me leaky, so I'm the opposite of you. Good luck and I'm glad it went from 10 days to 6 days, it is much easier for you!

Well I'll try increasing my water intake. Water is the main thing I drink, but maybe it's just not enough.

EPO just gave me a wicked headache!

You can also drink green tea to increase your CM. Good luck!

Good luck this cycle, Chris! Having dry CM doesn't sound too comfy!
