So we went to see Marley and Me with MIL, BIL, SIL and their 2 kids.....well, this was completely unexpected...

Not really a spoiler alert, just a warning about one part....

Jennifer Aniston gets pregnant and goes for an ultrasound at 10 weeks. They do a doppler and can't find a HB, so they do an ultrasound. They still don't find a HB. (They don't go into anymore about the miscarriage after that, except one part she bursts out crying when she gets home...) But that's exactly what happened to me with my first loss in August, and seeing as I just went through it again that month, I almost wanted to walk out of the theater.

Just wanted to warn anyone who might want to see it!

I read the book a couple of years ago. I was wondering if they would include that in the movie. I'm kind of suprised but glad too. I think that losses should be discussed in the mainstream.

I think its totally fine you posted it too because its the kind of thing that should be warned about and some women might not see the first post.

It's sort of a bittersweet topic to me, in my opinion. I feel so horribly when I hear of a woman losing her baby, but a part of me is happy to see movies, t.v. shows, soap operas, etc. talk about the subject of miscarriage. It affects more women in the world than we know about. I'm glad it's finally not something a woman feels she should hide.
