New here, m/c ment.

Hello, my name is Randi. I had a m/c on Dec. 24 at 5wks. Doc says I can go ahead and start ttc as soon as af comes. I am so glad there is a borad here. I just want a head start. I have never really ttc before, so if there is any charts or temps I can take, or things I can do, anything you can think of, please let me in on the secrets. Hello and welcome

I have two daughters from a previous marriage. They were both miraculous surprises and concieved of birth control. My wonderful df Nelson and I gave up bc in Feb '08 and got our bfp early Oct '08. Sadly, we suffered a m/c Oct 25th. We have been desperately ttc since. The only thing I do is enter my first day of my af each month in ff (fertilityfriend.com). I work crazy hours, therefor, sleep crazy hours so I cannot temp. I have heard horror stories about opks. So, I am going with when I "should" ovulate. If it takes more than 2 more months, I am going to try temping and/or opks. I hope the other ladies have more advice. Welcome, and I hope you become one of our many pg members very soon

Welcome to the board Randi, I am sorry for your loss. I just recently had my second miscarriage in December as well (my first was in August).

I chart BBT on Fertilityfriend as well as using OPKs and checking cervical mucus. If you care to pick it up, the book Taking Charge of your Fertility has wonderful information.

Hi, Randi! I'm so sorry for your loss.

There are a few things, like charting your temps and other body signs and using OPKs. You'll just want to make sure you're doing/using them correctly so you don't throw yourself off. Use this time to study up and learn about charting and how OPKs work, if you're planning to use them. I know it's hard waiting, but in the meantime you can do things to make yourslf healthier, make your body better prepared. Make sure you're getting enough folic acid, maybe take a prenatal. I also started taking fish oil capsules during my wait. This was posted by someone shortly after I joined the group and it has some good ideas as well. http://www.tryingtoconceive.com/howto.htm

My name is Kelty. January will be the first month we are TTC#4 since our loss in October. I am new to temping and OPKs. Feel free to jump right it and get to know all of us. Randi. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my angel in April at 9w6d. We've been TTC since May. I hope that it doesn't take you long to get your sticky bean. In the meantime, jump in and start posting. Nothing here is tmi.
