Hey guys! I just got back from my OB appointment. She let me know that all my blood work came back perfect from last month. The information from the perinatologist was good too. And my doctor was SO happy for me! In fact she was practically beaming. She actually is having me come in next Friday to have my first u/s. She said I am going to be so sick of her and the perinatologist by the time it is over. I said no problem by me!

She tentatively put my due date at 9/2/09. But the u/s will be to confirm it. I have to go get the standard pregnancy blood panel soon and also one for thrombophilia. yay!

Got a ticker now too!

I am just so glad that I got to meet them before I got pregnant. I feel like they are more on my side because of it.

I know it was so awesome. I'm having a hard time with the kids though. The oldest is fairly astute and will figure it out soon enough. The youngest may end up being inappropriate. She told her pregnant teacher that her baby would die, in front of the whole class, because that is what she knows. It is not good. And we don't want to worry her needlessly, but we don't want to keep secrets either.

Last year the oldest found out because I couldn't go in with her during an x-ray after a car accident (her mom's car was hit by another that ran a red light). It bothers me that one of the first people who find out because of it is the ex-wife. *sigh* But lets get through the u/s first before worrying. We'll know exactly the due date of the baby then!

I know I am so excited. Honestly I feel really bad about it to... well mentioning it here. I mean I had something totally terrible happen to me, but we hadn't been totally trying at the time or anything. Now although I would have been been fine with it earlier (particularly in the summer) this was truely the first month my heart, mind, and body were prepared and ready to get pregnant and I did. And some of you guys have been trying for so long and have too many losses (one is too many in my book, but some way more than me). I won't ever say I wish I wasn't pregnant. I'm totally thrilled and excited. I'm just sorry you all can't be too.
