Hi everyone, I guess I belong on this board now. 20 days ago (on December 17th) I went to the dr for a routine ultrasound. That is when we found out that my sweet baby boy had no heartbeat. I was induced that day at 17w 2d. As hard as this has been for me I have this peaceful feeling that God has not given me my last child yet (I have 2 other living children). One of the things that "worries" me is that my body will take a long time to begin functioning like normal again. I have never had trouble getting pregnant and never had the need for OPK's. This time I decided to order some so I could see what my body was doing even BEFORE I got AF. (Even though I delivered my son I had to have a D&C afterwards to remove part of the placenta). I got the OPK's in the mail 2 days ago and started taking them right away- to me it looks like my timing was perfect- but this is the first time I have ever used these tests so I would like your opinions. FYI- I took the Pregnancy test at the top to be sure that there was no hcg left from my pregnancy. I know that I should wait at least one full cycle to TTC, I just took these for the peace of mind they bring when I know my body has not gone crazy on me. SOOOOO- WHAT DO YOU THINK?????

P.S. The abbreviations stand for: M=morning, A=afternoon, Ev=evening. Most of them were taken at different times on the same day!!!

I lost a baby boy at 17w in Oct 06 and got pg 7 weeks later. I was rushed the hour drive to Hosp and had emerg d&c and blood tranfusion after and even after all that just 10 months 2weeks later I was holding a baby boy again

I also lost another baby at 17W (Girl) this past April and I know God will bless us again. Good luck!

The last one looks positive to me, too! I hope your body gets back to normal cycles soon so you can get your sticky bean!

I lost a baby boy at about the same point in the pregnancy 3/10/07. I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you are feeling. IMHO I would wait a cycle to start trying again. After giving birth and having a D&C your body needs time to heal.

That looks positive to me !! I had a D&C at 19 weeks and it took awhile to start getting back to normal... The surgery throws things way off...

I am also so very sorry for your loss..... As long as you never give up hope You will get pregnant again!!!!!! I normally can get pregnancy with in one month of trying. After the D&C it took my about three months ,but nOw I am pregnant again..

I wish you the best of luck..

I agree with everyone that it looks like the last one is for sure pos. I agree with waiting one cycle. IMO its totally worth it. I know how impatient you can get wanting to try again, but regardless of how soon or late you get pregnant, you cannot replace the child you lost. (im not implying by any means this is what youre trying to do though) It is the healthy decision, and it gives you time mentally to heal. I agree with your decision to wait Im so sorry you lost your son, I hope that you are blessed with a healthy baby very soon hun.
