I am on CD 42, yet still no BFP. Sept. 15 was my m/c. My 1st period was Oct. 21, 6 days long. My next one came 37 days later on Nov. 27 and lasted 5 days plus one day of spotting. Isn't my cycle supposed to be getting shorter, not longer?

How were your cycles before your loss?

I hate saying "everyone is different" but it's so true.

I will say though, that my O after my loss was later, therefore making my cycles longer...but they got shorter as time went by.

After my loss I had 28-45 day cycles. It was all irratic too. It was like 30 the first time, 45 the second, 28 the next, 37 the next, 33... soemthing like that. It averaged to about 34 day cycles. I got my on the 9th month after the loss. Its annoying, and frustrating, but your body is just regulating.

I will say that my cycles were not perfect every month before, but around 30-33 days every month.

My situation was similar to Christine's. My cycles were 31 days on my 1st cycle after my loss, then slowly went to 28 days and that's about what I normally am anyway. Although my periods went from 4-5 days to 5-6, which I surely don't appreciate haha.

My cycles went from being normal sort of normal after the m/c (from 28 to maybe 30D) to 32-34. It might be a while before they go back to normal.

If you're really concerned call your Dr. Unfortunately it can take a while for our bodies to get back to normal.
