Hi there, this is my second time around here, I came here after my 1st MC and got preggers with my daughter and and I am here again.
Here is my situation I took a HPT on Mon (1/5) day period was due and I got BFP, I had a HCG level drawn on Tues. it was low they suspected a chemical pregnancy, on Thurs I had a follow up HCG and it was 3...confirming that I was miscarrying. Here is the thing, I have had NO bleeding. the nurse said it should start within the week and if not to call back but I have never heard of this before. Has anyone experienced this? The waiting is horrible...it's like I can't let go and grieve while it's still inside me...

Hmm, im really not sure. I havnt heard of it with numbers that low, but anything is possible. Id call regardless and let them know youre not bleeding. Make sure youre watching for severe cramps and fevers because those can all be signs of infection from the tissue being inside of you. Sometimes it takes a while for your body to get stuff going. Id for sure call though and see what they say. im sorry youre going through this again

I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago. I had a BFP then the next day my level was 11 then two days later it was 3. I didn't start bleeding for another couple of days. I had convinced myself that the lab was a bunch of quacks, but it finally started.

i am sorry for your loss. This has happened to me too. It took about 5 days after hpt turned neg. to start bleeding.

Thanks ladies, I actually started bleeding today. I am glad this is going to be done and I can move on now.

The same thing happened to me last month, I got a positve hpot 4 days late for my AF, blood draw number was low, re-drawn and it dropped then I started bleedign 2 days later. Im currently ttc again and am in the horrible 2ww. Hope your stay here is short again!!
