Hi Ladies -

I'm new to this board, and just had a miscarriage on Dec. 27 at 7 weeks. I had a follow up appointment on Friday and got the okay to start TTC again. I just don't know if I'm ready. There are still a lot of times that I just feel lost. But part of me feels like I may never feel totally ready. I'm scared to death of another loss. We considered NTNP for a few months, but then part of me just doesn't feel right not TTC. Anyway, several ladies on JM suggested I come over to this board. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

I'm sorry for your loss. I think most all can understand how you feel. I know it took almost 9 months before I was completely ready TTC, but I also didn't want to wait that long.

In the other end, I see you have 9 months till your wedding. Maybe waiting a month or more might be a good idea. That way you don't have to worry about being due right about when your baby is due. You might not get to say "I do" if the baby decide right at that "right" moment. Good luck whatever you decide but know that everyone will be supportive.

Hi Jennifer. I am sorry for your loss. Big . What you're feeling is completely normal. Once you have had a loss the fear of another never goes away. It really sucks. The ladies on this board are wonderful and helpful. Without them I probably wouldn't have made it to where I am. I hope you find as much comfort and friendship as I have.

I'm very sorry for your loss Jennifer, and you're most welcome to join us here. Your loss is so recent, it's understandable that you're not ready to think about TTC again. I wasn't ready to brave coming to this board for more than a month after my loss...and I am only just now TTC again.

I hope you find the same wonderful support here that I have.

Hi there, i'm so very sorry for your loss!! it is so emotionally difficult. i had a loss last august and i know how you feel about being afraid to lose another one. you must put your faith in God and remember that he will never give you more than you can handle!!!

i also agree with maybe waiting a month so you aren't due when you're saying "i do"...

G/L sweetie, I hope you can come to a decision that is right for you!!!

Although I'm also new here I'd like to welcome you. The ladies seem really nice and understanding.

I'm Kirsten and we lost our son in January 2007. He was born 10 weeks prem and lived for 6 days. We were advised by our docs to wait for 3-4 months to be on an even keel emotionally, but basically it's fine to start ttc as soon as you want to. Your body will let you know when it's ready.

As some of the other ladies have mentioned, it might be worth considering waiting a month or so before seriously trying so that you can really enjoy your wedding and not have to worry about going into labour.

Good luck and I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you.

Hugs
Kirsten
