I have been doing so much research trying to figure out what caused my early losses that I'm stressing myself out. First, I hear from my SIL and neighbor that they were both put on progesterone to keep their pregnancies. I also read stories online. So, here I am thinking, "Good..it might just be that." I keep doing research and read that low progesterone is the effect, not the cause, of an early m/c. I start reading about hormonal and chromosomal probs.

I really am driving myself nuts. So nuts in fact that my mind seems to not be working right. I was given 2 lab slips on Friday, one to check progesterone and one to check for pregnancy. I had to wait until Sat for the progesterone test, but could've taken the preg test that morning. Instead I walked right past the lab and went to work. (I had a sub for homeroom and 1st period so I could go to the dr.)

I need to stop trying to research and just relax. This stress can't be good for me.

I do it too!!!! I over research things to the point of being TOTALLY confused. I usually end up finding so much conflicting information that I have even MORE questions after I do some research. I still can't help it though, its one of my many addictions!!!!

It is so hard to stay sane when you start researching online. Too much information can be scary! You're right about needing to relax, but, that's easier said than done! So you're having to lab tests done? KUP I hope you get all good news.

Thanks for the replies ladies. It's good to know that I'm not the only one doing this. I'm going to stop researching b/c I don't think it's doing any good. There are so many reasons why they happened including none at all. Hopefully my next BFP will stick and I will need no tests. I did do 1 thing diff this cycle though. With approval from the dr, I began taking low dose aspirin (81 mg) and 100 mg B6. Hopefully that will help. I know my grandmother has clotting issues, so maybe that got passed to me. I will ask for a platelet test if I need to.

HUGS!

Jennifer

My best friend is an OB/GYN 2nd year resident. She told me to try taking the baby aspirin as well. She said in some women it helped them conceive. I tried that for a few months, but nothing....Then when I had my annual OB visit I asked my Dr. and she said it hasn't been known to GET you PG, but can help avoid a MC. I stopped taking it and will pick it back up when I am PG.

I just recently came back to this site, I find that I read other people's stories and it gets me worked up and upset. For my stress level I had to stop. Now, I come and go. Stress is a big factor in NOT getting PG. You'll only drive yourself crazy trying to find the "why". Believe me I know! The question still haunts me almost 1 year later.

Good luck to you!

Thank you for the great info BabyBones. I'm going to ask my ob/gyn if I should take the baby aspirin only after ovulation or for the entire cycle.

Good luck to you too!
