Hi Everyone!! I'm Stephanie, married to wonderful DH for 1 year & 7 months. We got pregnant last year rather quickly, I had one normal AF after being off of BCP for 10 years and was pregnant the in June, my LMP was 5/31/08. In July I had some spotting, so we went to the Dr. and found out I was pregnant with twins!! It was so awesome! There were some initial problems, but towards the end we were told everything looked great and we were excited that everything was fine. On November 8, I went into pre-term labor and the Dr.'s at the hospital couldn't stop it. I gave birth to my 2 angels on 11-9-08. I was 23 weeks pregnant. Neither of our girls survived. This is a much longer story, but don't want to depress everyone. Our loss is the most heart wrenching ordeal I have ever been through. I really do wish my girls were here with me, but God has a better plan for them. Which I've learned is good. I feel good that they are watching over me everyday.
So to move on to today, the baby fever is taking control!! I can't stand it any longer. When I went for my PP check up at the GYN, they found 2 cysts on my left ovary and have be on BCP for 2 months and I was talking to DH and telling him that I can't take it anymore. I want a baby!! I asked him if he would care if after this AF if I didn't go back on BCP if he wouldn't mind? He said "Do what you want, I want a baby too. I just want to make sure everything is good with you, that you are healthy before we move on." I explained to him that the cysts on my ovary is nothing to worry about, one is stationary and not growing at all and the other one is an ovulation cyst that comes and goes every month. He said, "Fine." So I think we will be TTC really soon!!! AAAHhhh... I'm so excited.
Anywho, I'm excited to be here. I'm actually excited for AF to come and to go so I can be pregnant!! I hoping it happens rather quickly again.
Thanks for reading!!

Welcome Stephanie! Sorry seems such an inadequate thing for me to say when you've lost your twin girls, but I am so sorry for your loss
This group of ladies is really wonderful - I know you'll get tons of support as you brave the TTC journey again! Where are you in your current cycle??

Let's see, in my current cycle, I just ripped (literally) ripped my birth control patch off!! I should be getting AF in the next day or two. If that stays true, I should O beginning of February, and be pregnant shortly after that. That's my plan actually. Of course, I'll keep everyone updated.
Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!!

Welcome Stephanie! I can't even imagine the pain you went through losing your beautiful twin girls, my heart goes out to you. I lost my third baby at 6 weeks (last month), and I think I may be pregnant again, but not sure.
Wishing you lots of luck and baby dust!!
