Or is that just WAY too controlling.
Part of me wants a baby so bad I won't care when my due date is, but the other part of me says everyone I know with a December birthday feels like they get lost between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so we talked tonight about avoiding trying to get pregnant in March.
Anyone else?
Part of me just wants a BFP so bad I don't care, but of course we aren't actually cleared to TTC just yet AND I am not so sure about February because that is when Carter was born. As it turns out we might end up waiting a couple cycles.
At least I can chart and get things figured out between now and then.

I have a brother whose bday is the 23rd and my mom always made a big effort to make his bday ONLY about his bday. My dad's is the 8th and as a kid he still would get gifts wrapped in Christmas paper. My bro would have to wait a week or so to have a bday party, but he always had a circle of only a few close friends, so it didn't really matter to him. So I don't plan on it, because I know it can be worked around. It would be my favorite Christmas gift!

Well, hopefully I'll have a BFP before then but if I don't there is no way I'll lose a month to avoid having a December b-day!

After waiting three years for a sticky BFP, I'll gladly take it whenever it decides to come.

With my oldest daughter, I got pregnant in March and her due date was December 14th - I never worried about her birthday being in December, I did worry about her being overdue and being in the hospital for Christmas. However, she came a 4 weeks early and was born in November 18th.... so none of it mattered anyway!

It plays a part in my waiting. This is my first cycle after my m/c so I could technically try this cycle, but I am having my progesterone checked at 7dpo, so I am going to not try this cycle. Which gets me into my March cycle.....But with my 1st m/c, I started trying right away, and my O went from CD24, CD21, CD19.....so I want to give it a few more months this time to get back to "normal". That's the main reason I won't be trying in March, but being due in December was just another reason I added on (so I won't get tempted to try lol)
Although I was due in March (with my first pregnancy lost at 10 weeks), so it kills me to know I won't be pregnant by my due date.

I'm hoping to get a BFP really soon!!! I'm due to O the first week of February and if I get pregnant as fast as I did the first time around, then I should be able to test in a few weeks and get that BFP. If not, then I'll just take it whenever it wants to come!!

All things being equal, I'd probably prefer not to have a baby due in Dec...BUT I'm with Alicia - I won't risk losing a month of TTC over it, so bring on a BFP whenever!!!

I will take a healthy baby anytime I can get it!! the only thing I worry about is it being born on the same day Zachary was (Dec 17). That day is special to me and I am not sure how I would feel if they both had the same birthday. One side of me would be thrilled that I could recognize them both and the other side would be scared or maybe even a little disappointed that his day would have to be shared. But I will gladly take any emotions that come to have another baby in my arms.

I think it's great how all of you handle the December birthdays. I guess All I hear is people complain about them, but I'm not their parent to make it special for them, these are friends and such.
I also know what you mean about taking a healthy baby whenever he/she wants to come into our lives!

We're in our 10th cycle of TTC. I dare not try any cycle as it will only prolong our BFP.

Not for that reason at all... Maybe because my Angel's EDD was in December, but I don't know. Probably not.

After my lst lossin Septmeber. I told myself that I would not be pregnant at all in the month of Septmeber. All my three losses are in that month... two around 11 weeks and one at 20 weeks..So when I had my loss in Septmeber I told myself that I have till Dec 31 to get pregnant or I would be waiting till next year . But we were lucky and found out that we were pregnant again in Dec !!!
