So, I've been testing every day since the last day of AF. I know I should continue to test till the day before her return, but I'm just wondering at what time to test. It says not to use first mornings urine, so I've been doing it around 12:30pm everyday, but that's more like the 3rd or 4th urine of the day. Is that too late? Should I test with the 2nd urine of the day? Should I do it later in the day? According to the calendar I'm using I should O sometime this week but I haven't even gotten the faintest line of a yes to O'ing. I'm just going nuts right now.

I thought I might be able to help but I'm afraid I can't. I'm using the CBE fertility monitor and I have to use 1st morning's urine and I'm waiting for it to tell me to pee on a stick (I'm only 3rd day of my cycle). I hav eno idea, sorry. I want to say GL though!

It's best to test around 1:00-2:00pm and to test around the same time every day. Also, once you figure out about when you're supposed to O you do not have to test every day. I usually start testing a few days before I expect to O and then stop once I get a +. 1 box of 7 tests should be enough for a cycle.

Here's what I've done. I went out and bought the Answer brand opks (20 in a pack...definitely feeds my poas addiction ) I used urine from midday. Then, when it got close to positive, I switched to a more expensive brand until I got my positive. I also temped and monitored cm. Both very helpful! Good luck! I hope you O soon! KUP

I got the internet cheapies to feed the 3x a day addiction (at least when I THINK I am close to O'ing) and then use the more expensive 1x a day!!! I don't know if this is even effective- but it makes me FEEL like I am making progress!!!! LOL

Close to O time I start to test with IC's 2x a day. When I start to see a second line - I switch to digital tests. I just bought a CBEFM off Ebay so next cycle I won't be using OPKs (unless I have a lot leftover).

Definitely don't start the day AF ends (unless you O early), and there's no reason to continue testing after your positive. If that's on the directions, it's so you use more tests!

I know I've never O'd before CD18, so I typically start testing around CD15. I too test once a day until I start seeing a faint second line, then test twice a day.
