well that was just plain rude

I went to my midwife's today. I sign in and tell the secretary that my insurance card has changed. I even hold out my card for her. But she tells me I'll take it when i call your name. Ok so i go and sit down. Several minutes pass, I'm able to make out my grocery list and read a couple pages in a book. Still no one calls my name. BTW I'm only the 2nd person on the list. Pretty soon the nurse calls for me. I mention to her that i had new insurance and i was waiting for someone to make a copy of it. The nurse takes it over to the secretary and I can hear the secretary loud as day say "I can't remember who the hell wanted their insurance card copied. If they wanted it copied they should have said something. (nurse speaks, but i can't hear her). Well yes she said something to me about having new insurance, but i couldn't remember what the hell she looked like". And yes she actually spoke like that.

She ended up copying it and later on the nurse apologized to me. But geez I'm glad i was given an apology but the nurse shouldn't have been the one to do it. She didn't do anything wrong.

OH SNAP!! What a rude B!TCH!!! If it were me (and I'm sure they're glad it wasn't) I would have taken a stapler and stapled the new card to her forehead. Or worse, her breast. Who wants pierced nipples now, beeeiiioootttccchh!

I hope they fire that secretary!! She can't remember what you looked like, yet there was hardly anyone in the waiting room? Give me a break. People like her are just lazy as heck and I'm surprised she even has a job working in a doctor's office.
