have taken a break from posting for a while because I was stressing myself out. Here is a brief history. In Sept. 2008 I found out at nine weeks that I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have emergency surgery. While perfoming the surgery they found a weak spot in my uterus and had to open me up to repair that. Thank God everything went okay and we were told to wait three months before TTC again. Fast forward to January 13. Went for bloodwork and it was a BFP!! but my progestrone was low so they started me on supplements. Repeated bloodwork and HCG dropped so stopped supplements and had a natural miscarriage the next day. This was very early---16 dpo. Went to the dr. and he told me to stop charting and taking my temp for three months. I am a terrible OCD and he thought I needed a break. Said that if I wasn't pregnant by April we would become more aggressive.

Now that brings me to yesterday. 9dpo and when checking my cervix I find it to be very high and somewhat soft but the mucus is a brownish color. I am not due for AF until the 14th. Again today my cervix is high and somewhat soft and the mucus is still brownish. Could this be implantation? My cycle is rather normal with a LP of 13 days and a cycle of 28. Or just AF coming soon? I think (lol) that I am having some early pregnancy signs, but after all I have been through don't really trust my head. My DH and I want this so bad. He is 40 and I just turned 36. We have a DS that is 10 and are kicking our selves for waiting so long to have another one, but realize that it is all in God's hands.

Sorry I am so long winded, but you ladies are wonderful and very supportive of each other and that is what I need right now.

Updated: Thanks for all the advice. I ended up calling the dr. yesterday and went in for bloodwork. I just got the results and it is a BFN. I was so happy this morning when the spotting stopped and my cervix was still very high. I am still at a loss. My ob wants to wait until April to do anything else, but I really don't know if I can wait that long. I am so down and sad it is not funny. I guess I am on to waiting for AF to show to move on to the next cycle. I so wanted to be pregnant before the Due date of my loss, but it is looking doubtful that will happen. Thanks again ladies.

Hi there. I'm very sorry about your losses.

The brown CM could be implantation bleeding, or it could be from checking your cervix. Either way I wouldn't worry. Good luck!

I am sooo sorry for your loss! I hope you're doing OK! You've been through a lot. And, it's a good thing you got some of the answers you need to get a healthy PG going

It's so hard to tell what the spotting and cervix position means. It definitely could be implantation bleeding. And, a high cervix can be a good sign. But, the only thing that's going to tell you for sure is the hpt. I realllly hope that these two symptoms, along with the others that you mentioned, add up to a beautiful sticky BFP! KUP! Has the spotting stopped? How are you feeling?

Let us know!

Hey maybe there just wasn't time for any hcg to show up in your blood even. I mean give a little egg some time to get a nice little home. Well whatever the situation is I hope it turns out for the best. April isn't so long... and not trying isn't the same as not preventing right?
