Hello everyone. My name is Kimberly (27), DH is Jamie (30). Some of you may know me from TTC#1 and the Sept 2009 DDC. I just had a miscarriage at 10 weeks. I went into the doctor on wednesday because my pregnancy symptoms had gone away and I had started spotting lightly. On thursday I went in for an emergency ultrasound and found out that I had a missed miscarriage. They were unable to find a heartbeat and the embryo measured at only 6 weeks 5 days. Last night I officially miscarried and this thursday I go in for another ultrasound to make sure that my uterus is clear. I hope that it is because I really dont want to get a D&C. I am now waiting 3 months to try again, as per intructions from my doctor. I cant wait to start trying again. Thank you all in advance for having me.

Kimberly, I am so sorry for your loss. 's to you and your DH! Welcome to TTCAL, I'm Michelle (30), DH is Brad (43) and we started TTC about 2 months ago. We lost our son Roman a week after being born due to several medical problems. So we're hoping to get a sticky BFP soon to give Roman a little brother or sister .
Please feel very welcome to stay here and jump in feet first in all of our chat threads! We're all in the same boat here so feel free to ask anything and I'm sure someone will have a similar situation who can help.

Welcome Kimberly. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm Laurie (30) and DH is Andy (37). We have a four year old son named Connor. Our daughter (Eva) was born still last June, and I had a ruptured ectopic in December. I was told to wait three months to try again, but waiting is very hard when it's all you can think about. Good luck and I truly hope you get a speedy bfp!

I remember you from the Sept DDC, I am so sorry for your loss.
I understand the choice to get a D&C is a personal one so I am not sure your reasons for not wanting one, I just wanted to let you know I ended up having one and it was not painful at all, it was emotionally difficult, but not physically.
Hugs to you.

I'm sorry for your loss. I hope your stay here is short.
I am Lori. My DH is Eric. I'm not sure if we are officially TTC or not - too many losses, too much heartache, but not quite ready to throw in the towel.

I remember you as well. I dont want a D&C because I have never had to get surgery before and I dont want to start under these circumstances. I just want my body to take care of it on its own. I would of course get one though if I need to. Its good to know that you didnt have a bad experience.

I hate welcoming people under such sad circumstances, but I am glad that you have found us. The support here is wonderful. I'm Kelty. My DH and I have three sons, ages 13, 10, and 8. I am sooo sorry for your loss. I had a missed miscarriage in Oct... and when they did the u/s I did not need a d&c... I felt very similar to you. I just wanted my body to do what it needed to... I waited three months to TTC.
Looking back, I think the wait would have been tons worse had it not been for the wonderful ladies on this board. It made the time go much smoother.
I hope you're doing OK. Feel free to cry, vent, scream, and do whatever you need to...we're here to listen! Take care of yourself and let us know how your appointment goes.
You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi Kimberly So sorry for your loss I was also in the Sept DDC. We lost our heartbeat on Jan 29th and I had a D/E on Feb 6th. I couldn't take being sick anymore, and I never started to bleed. Like the others have said it is a personal choice. It was painless. I havent even bleed, and very little cramping. again!
