You'd think since this is my third pregnancy I'd know what it was supposed to feel like... lol but anyway I keep having these sharp pains in my lower right side of my abdomen, like a few inches right and lower than my belly button. Mostly when I stretch, but sometimes just for no reason. Always the same spot & after the pain when I stretch (like being stabbed) it lingers for awhile...I'm 5w3d.

Ligament pain, or should I be concerned?

I didn't have any pain until I was about 7 weeks, and the pain I had didn't feel like that. It was sort of all over my abdomen, and movement of any sort made it worse. I couldn't even walk, let alone stretch. The tip-off that something was wrong was the spotting. I spotted for over a week before the ectopic was diagnosed. I'm not sure I'm being very helpful, but this was what my experience was like.

When I had an eptopic I had REALLY bad pains on one side, same place for a few days. At that time, I didn't even know I was pg and after having test done, they said that's what it was. I def. dont want to scare you, but I would give your Dr. a call.

T&P's with you, and I hope it's nothing!

Oh my goodness! I'm having the same thing! It started just after I O'd and comes and goes. I was thinking it was stretching, bowel, or a cyst. Mine has not gotten worse. Has yours just started? Or has it been there for awhile? I had this with when I was pg with my second son. I thought I was having an appendicitis or a tubal pg. They checked for a tubal. It was nothing. Dont ignore it, though. And, don't let the pain get worse! Give your doc a call. I hope you're OK!

ive had 3 ectopics and never really had any pain till ive ruptured and then it is unmistakeable! I would imagine its just stretching pains, unless you have had any spotting? x

2 doctors thought I was having an ectopic when I was in excruciating pain only on one side. It was so bad I was in the hospital and it hurt worse than labour and that ended up not even being ectopic. I'd imagine ectopic would have hurt even more?

Hey Ladies!!

Well the pain hasn't gotten worse, and I've felt it on both sides now. I'm sure its just ligament pain.
I'll still be careful to mind it though - if it gets worse I will def. call my dr. Thanks so much ladies!!
