Okay, so you know when you go to someone else's house and they always seem to have these really weird random objects that make you want to say 'WHY did you buy/find/dumpster dive for THAT? And what made you put IT on display in your house???' DH and I have a few of these items, they just seem to jump out at us when we are out shopping. LOL We actually like to fill our house with strange (but meaningful items) I also have a 25-30lb ROCK. There is a story behind it but we usually don't tell people until they ask- it's fun to watch them stare :biggrin:

This is one of my most 'famous' WTH IS THAT items. Our friends all think it is really strange....


It is our Butler Frog!!! He comes to just under my boobs when I stand next to him, so he is pretty big. He is made of welded and painted metal. Technically he is supposed to hold a plant, but we use him for holding things like keys and DH's wallet. There is a cloth in the basket to hide our junk so it doesn't look so cluttered.
What do you think??? What is YOUR random weird object? Don't say you don't have one cause we all do!!! LOL

Haha I love it! actualy i have a lot of items like that..we have a large bull statue thing that actually used to be a whisky flask (sp?) and it sits on our book shelf..i doesnt really go with my americana star theme but oh well its my house and i like it...lol ok DH likes it more than me but whatever

Here is my rock. Dh tells people that I stole it from the smoky mountains, but I say that since it was in a national park it already belonged to everyone in the country- I just relocated it!

He's cute!!!!

I had two rocks on top of the fridge for the longest time...they were from a 4x4ing trip that we took with my brother in the river valley, and one was shaped like a heart and the other was just a pretty color. We used to do rock hunting escapades when we were kids, too Those were fun! We kept the smaller rocks in egg cartons.

That one is really big!! What made you want to bring such a heavy one home?

The weirdest thing in our house is probably our pet tarantula. A lot of people just don't understand why we wanted a spider, or they're scared of it. Just wait until we get EVERY pet that we want!
