So when we miscarried, our little bean was a total accident. My dh had just got back from Iraq. And at the time he was my df. We were married on 8/3/07 and went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and found out there we were pregnant. Well of course we lost our bean. And I was on a mission afterwards to get pregnant. So when we decided to try again. I went out and bought Clear Blue Easy Digital ovulation test. I peed on it Christmas day 2007 and I had a smiley face. So since we were visiting family, we didn't really get a chance to "enjoy" how we conceived Wyatt. Sorry if this is tmi but it was quickie in dh's childhood room at his mom's. I always tease my hubby about it. Anyway...I don't know if I want to be so "mechanical" about it this time. I guess it doesn't matter but I thought maybe I should just guestimate when I'm ovulating and see what happens this month.

If we don't get pregnant this month, I want to wait until the cycle after next to try again. I really don't want to have a Dec. baby since this will be Wyatt's 1st real christmas and I want to be at home with him opening presents and not in the hospital or recovering from a c-section.

Do you know pretty well when you O during your cycle? If so I would go with guessimate and just act like rabbits. Otherwise I’d test, but make sure you are home this time!

Good luck!

The first time I got pregant, I had barely just learned the whole temp and knowing what it 'looks/feels' like when I O...Well, I thought my O had already come, so I was like oh I missed it. But, we kept DTD and I went ahead and kept it in -- well turnes out I got pg, but had the m/c.

This time (starting once AF comes), I have my kit and I'm going to try it out and see how it goes. I'll have to let you know or of course, you can reead my post. I say try it naturally, but be aware of when you may be O'ing and keep up w/your temps so you have an idea :-)

I had never used an OPK with my first 4 pgs...But, this time I decided to temp and test. I did it primarily to make sure I knew my cycles after the m/c and, I'll admit it, to give me something to do while I waited to TTC. Anyway, it was very helpful. But, you need to do what you are most comfortable with...

Maybe you can just monitor your cm this cycle and see what happens...

Good luck!

I am with Kelty!!! I never even had to *try* with my 3 pregnancies- they all just happened really quickly (2 were only 2 weeks after saying lets have another one). But this time I am obsessed, I can't help it!!! I think I am just bored and want something, ANYTHING, to do while I am in those 2ww. So i say, do what you want. It won't make your child any less special just because you know that it was concieved at 9:37 on the third monday of the month after you ate lima beans for dinner (as in your were methodically planning). Take it any way you can get it girl!!!
