Well we went to our follow apt after the D/E, the Dr also had the pathology report. So, we found out that we had trisomy 22 that is incompatable with life. With that being said he said we have no more of a risk than anyone else of this (M/C) happening again. Even with the chemical pregnancy in Nov. And was given the go ahead to start TTC. He said I should be getting AF with in the next few weeks. Started me on a script for 1mg Folic acid and said to call him when I get my BFP. Then he will bring me in to monitor my blood levels just as he did this time, than he made me cry when he said to me if I need to bring you in every week to see the heartbeating, to makesure the baby is ok and ease you mind I will! I have to say I'm in love my OB! after going in for my D/E I can't say enough about him. As they were putting me out for my D/E while he held my hand the last things I heard was him saying you will be ok, it will be ok.

SO COME ON AF!!!!! waiting!

We are now YEA!!!

Oh wow, that is so wonderful that you have a great Dr!!! I am also happy to hear that you got some closure on why you lost your little one. It must be somewhat of a relief to have some answers. I can relate to you, as my precious baby had trisomy 18. Your right, they say its a fluke thing that just happens and your chances of it happening again are slim to none! and what a great doc!!
