I miscarried at 6 weeks and my doctor said I was most likely going to miscarry naturally. For the last 5 days I’ve veen spotting off and on but that’s been about it. I was told to expect a really heavy flow but I have not gotten that so far. Is that a bad sign?

If it helps, when I had a m/c 10 days ago I was spotting for 5 days before the actual m\c happened. On the 5th day of spotting I all of a sudden started bleeding more (it was like a period) and then about 7 or 8 hours later I started bleeding really heavy.

Sometimes it takes your body a bit to finally give up. I had a coworker who lost the baby at around 8 wks and didn't start bleeding until after 11 wks. Keep an eye out though, and if you start getting flu-like symptoms go in right away. They can be a sign of infection. The spotting probably is the start of it though, I spotted off and on for about 3 days before my bleeding started. I'm so sorry!

I'm sorry for your loss. I think from what I have read that what you are experiencing is normal. Bleeding was what told me I was miscarrying

It does make sense to spot a few days before the big shebang of it all. It really sucks... my advice to you, when AF does come, do nothing buy sit and relax with a hot water bottle. I hated every minute of my miscarriage.

Mine happened about 3 weeks after they told me I would miscarry. It happened in the middle of the night with no warning. I guess it happens different for everybody.

My miscarriage was at 8 weeks but according to ultrasound the pregnancy stopped at 5 weeks 5 days, and I spotted for a week
before the miscarriage. My doctor too said that it would be like a heavy period, but I only experienced medium
amount of bleeding and mild cramps. The ultrasound 1 week later showed everything was out and well. So
sorry that you have to go through this too
