I'm really frustrated by hearing so many of my friends, co-workers, or other random people do nothing but complain about how miserable they are being pregnant. I know that it wont all be peaches and cream, but I just want to be pregnant so bad. I'll take every ache and pain and I'm going to love it. I have one "friend" in particular that I just want to strangle if she calls me complaining one more time. She hasn't even asked how I am in weeks because she's consumed by complaining! I feel like I'm going to snap.

Whew ~ Glad I'm not the only one to feel this way. I was starting to feel kinda guilty.

OMG, I know! For the short time that I was pregnant with PJ, I was sort of amazed at all the stuff noone ever talks about that sort of sneaks right up on you But it was all worth it, because there was a little miracle growing inside of me. I miss it! And when I get to experience it again, I'm going to treasure every single moment.

I understand someone mentioning something every once in awhile, and everyone goes through tough times, but constantly complaining is just crap

I'm sorry your friend is being so insensitive

I second that. I asked her if she's ever happy because every time I talk to her all she does is complain!?!

I'm sorry your friend is being so insensitive. Some people are just so consumed with themselves that they lose sight of everything else going on around them. Maybe it's time to take a break from your "friend".

I just had this conversation with my DH. My DH best friends wife is expecting... ALL we have been hearing about is how sick she is, and how she has wanted this FOREVER, and how all these "non deserving people" have great pregnancies and hers is the pits... BLAH BLAH BLAH... I just kept thinking in the short 16-17 weeks she has been pregnant I have lost two babies... I don't want to hear it!
Than I have my sil... who is about 12-13 weeks, and I have to listen to the stories my mom tells me.. (Since I can't bring my self to ask my brother how she is doing) like having them over her house and she'll say things like the baby wants this and the baby wants that... It makes me sick... And how they have to start getting the nursery together, THAT SHOULD BE ME!!!!!

I hate hearing the complaints too. I think that alone will be the main reason I won't join a DDC before a certain time.
