I have a question. DH and I read some where that you shouldn't have sex during pregnancy if you have a history of miscarriages. Has anyone else heard this?

I think that it depends on the situation and isn't a clear yes or no answer. I would say speak with your OB, there are probably times that they would advise against it, but I know that there are also times that it's perfectly fine.

My Dr. says as long as it doesn't hurt you, it's ok. But that's this Dr...You should ask yours.

I think it depends on whether or not you have a history of an incompetent cervix. Also it depends on the placement of the placenta (or do you spot a lot after sex) because it can irritate it if you have I think it's called placenta previa where it covers the cervix.

If YOU don't want to have sex for the 1st trimester, by all means. Like the other ladies said, it's different for everyone depending on the situation.
