How long do you say you've been TTC?

Hubby and I had tried for 16 cycles before we conceived the bean that we lost. When you started trying again was that cycle #1 or did you just pick up where you left off?

I wanted to wait at least until the 1st cycle, which would have been this week, buttt looks like i'm pg now. That was on Dec 30th

So we tried for 3 months when we got pregnant last summer. Since we lost our baby in August, we've been tring for 3 months unconsecutively

. I just say 3 months.

We tried for 3 months, not sure what I would say now, I guess just add on to that.

I started over. I was pregnant, so we did manage to conceive.

we started over. with this time we are now on cycle #3.

I didn't start over. We got pregnant and I carried him for 20 weeks, and I've been pregnant 3 more times since then. But until I have a little baby crying in my arms, I'm still ttc.

So we've been ttc for over a year now.

tried for 8 months, got pregnant, lost that baby... had to wait one cycle
tried for another 4 months, got pregnant again, and I'm losing this baby too...

so a total of 13 months for us with two losses.

I agree with Alicia, We tried for a year before we got pregnant and then three months later we lost the baby. When AF comes I will be counting that as cycle number 13, we have been TTC since December of 2006 though. DH was deployed 3 months after we started TTC and then we just resumed once he got back a year and 4 months later.

DH and I tried for a year and a half for the baby we lost and now we are ttc again so I say we have been ttc for 2years and 3 months now. until I have a baby im still ttc

I didn't start over either. We have been TTC for almost exactly 1 year, although I have gotten pregnant 3 times. Until it really sticks I'll just keep going.

Same here. I usually say we've been trying since April 08, but I point out that I've been pregnant twice so it hasn't been 12 months of consecutive bfns. But the point is I've been trying since April and I'm still not pregnant.

I carried my son for 30 weeks, he was born and passed away 5 days and 14 hours later. I don't count him as a "missed TTC" I count him as my son. That was 7/6/08 when he passed away and we've just started TTC again since January of 2009.

I didn't start TTC until October 2008. 16 months after my loss.

This is exactly the way I feel. We've been TTC since October 2007.

I say I've been trying for 6 months even though I got pregnant after our first month and lost that to a blighted ovum. It was such an early loss and until I have a successful pregnancy I am not counting it. So I guess it depends how far along the pregnancy is on what I would personally consider. Good luck to you!!!

We started in May after I graduated from school. We had our first BFP in Nov. So 6 months... Chemical preg. tried again in Dec BFP on Jan 2nd lost our heartbeat on Jan 29th, D/E in Feb. Waiting on AF to see if I can figure out when I'm O'ing. So back to ttc... about 9 months so far.
