How are you feeling??? And, how do you think your "doc" is going to respond??? What did DH say? Come on. I need DETAILS!!!

Yay for darker lines!!!! I gained 70lbs w/ my guy so I will not be helpful in the eating "healthy" department!!! I do believe you are only suppose to increase your calories by 300. And they suggest it's dairy (ice cream = dairy right??)

haha kelty! Ok, I'll give details.
Well, since we were kind of lie, this could 'not' be true we really haven't had 'excitement', but he's excited. He was gone ALL day and night yesterday with work, bso I haven't had the chance to really talk to him. I will see him at lunch, so we'll probably talk some then. I knowhe's excited, but scared! As most 1st time parents are I'm sure. I'll let ya know how that goes.
Well for Doc...I know he will be excited, b/c this will be his 1st great-grandchild to deliver (he has delivered his 2 grandchildren)...so he'll be excited, and maybe since it was at least a month since Dec. 30th, I don't think he'll be too worried. I just hope he'll give me all kinds of things or advice to let it stick ;-). I know I'll probably start blood work and an early u/s for sure. Just praying, praying, prayin =)
I don't have any symtoms yet. When I wake up in the AM's, I do feel alittle nausea, but it goes away. This is prolly but the OJ I've been drinking keeps messing up my tummy and making me go to the bathroom=) haha!! I hate it! BUT, I know I should be drinking it!
I won't have any more details until Monday!

Ohhh that line is getting darker yay!
Eating healthy? Well fruits and veggies, what do you like, what do you hate? One I was preggo enough to have symptoms I could NOT eat meat so I ate a lot of nuts, trail mix with dried fruit. I also forced myself to eat a yogurt a day, I don't really like yogurt, but I still try to eat one at least every other day, I figure the cultures have got to be good for your digestion.
Is it still cold where you are? Hot cereal is good, like oatmeal, but cold cereal is good too as they usually have lots of vitamins added. Remember the baby will take what he or she needs first, so baby will be fine!
I am a pretty healthy eater, so let me know if you want more info or recipes. Heather's taco soup recipe I make and it's SO yum, so filling and healthy!

I would love recipes Sara!!! I like easy and healthy. If you want to PM me with them that's cool =).
It's not cold here right now -- I've been eating Raisen Brand, but I AM NOT a breakfast eater at all! I love green beans, corn, the mix veggies, brocolli....but these are all in a can, except for the brocolli. I can eat pretty much any fruits, but not a lot of bananas. I love cherries -- do they count !! =)
I buy A LOT of those packaged pre-cooked meats (like chk. strips, BBQ wings, etc) and I buy a lot of the Banquet large family meals, like lasagna ect...are those bad?!? =)
I'm an EASY cooker =)

I will get you some recipes, a bit later today for sure!
Sounds like you eat really well! I think the Banquet large family meals are probably pretty high in calories and fat, but if it were me I would eat it anyway, just a smaller portion and with a side veggie to fill you up.
I didn't deprive myself anything when I was pregnant but I did watch my portion size. I did actually get scolded by my OB for eating too much fruit, I wasn't happy about that!

Here is the Taco Soup and I know Heather posted a similar recipe
TACO SOUP
Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey or lean beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 (1 oz.) package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
1 (1 oz) package Taco Seasoning Mix
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
1 (16 oz) can kidney beans
1 (16 oz) can black beans
1 (16 oz) can whole kernel corn
1 (8 oz) can Mexican-style tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can diced tomatoes (any flavor)
Directions
Brown meat & onions and drain.
Mix Ranch & Taco seasonings into meat.
Add rest of ingredients, undrained to mixture.
Simmer 1 hour.
I usually get frozen corn instead of canned. I don't always use the "mexican" style tomatoes or the ranch dressing packet, sometimes I just season the meat a little as it's cooking and add the Taco seasoning after I drain the meat. This is one of those throw it together, let it simmer and I eat it with baked Tostitos scoops chips, you could also put a little dollop of sour cream on top and cheese.
Also you can drain or not drain the beans depending on how soupy or thick you want it to turn out.
