My plan

I decided that I did not want to wait until my annual in early May to discuss TTC with my dr, so on Tuesday I called to schedule a consult. I shockingly got an appointment for this morning at 8:45 am.

My dr is the greatest. I got right in this morning. He came in the room & reminded me that it was 8 years ago today that we met - in the ER after my tube had ruptured. He literally saved my life that night. He has been there every step of the way through my fertility nightmare. He asked if I was serious about another baby now. I told him yes. I am about to O any day, so we're going to do our best on our own. If no luck, then he wants to do an IUI next cycle. I'm restarting folgard, baby aspirin, clomid next cycle, along with progesterone and lovenox after O/IUI. Wish me luck.....

Hey, we're pretty close to the same plan. I'm on additional folic acid, baby aspirin, lovenox and progesterone.

I currently take a baby aspirin, 100mg B6, 2,000mcg B12, 3,200mcg folic acid and a prenatal the entire cycle and then from 3dpo to 14dpo I do Lovenox and prometrium.

What are you on all of that for?

I've been on prenatals since I found out I was pg for Cameron in July 1998. I've taken baby aspirin since pg with Sam in 2003. I don't know what the amount of Folgard is a one pill combo of folic acid, B6 and B12. I believe the plan is 50 mg clomid cd3-7. He wasn't specific, just said after the IUI Lovenox and prometrium. He is also considering metformin if I need a second IUI.

Conception has not been my fertility issue. I have been pg 7 times in 10 years. All on my own. I've had loads of tests with nothing found. We're just being more aggressive this time in the hopes that at least one will stick.

Conception isn't my problem either. I've had 6 pregnancies in 8 years. But 4 of those have been in the last year. 3 within the last 6 months.

Lori- I hope you get the sticky bean soon! Conception hasn�t been my issue either, I got preggers on my own 3 times in the past year, just need it to stick!!

Lori - Sounds like an awesome plan! One that I hope is totally successful for you. I hope you catch that egg this cycle, but, if not, your doc sounds awesome and like everything is ready to go! You're in my prayers! I've got everything crossed for you!
