Ok this is prob
I am on progesterone vaginal suppositories for 15 days, or until the evil AF hits. Question is does anybody know what progesterone can do to men? I’m worried that if DH and I have sex, he will absorb it. If I don’t get my sticky bean this month, I don’t want to do anything to even temporarily hurt his supply of little guys. I have to do the suppositories twice a day so I know that there will be a residue. DH is willing to abstain form intercourse, I really don’t want tohave to do that or use condoms.

OMG, I had the exact same question this morning! I started the prometrium vaginally yesterday.

What a coincidence!

I was on them before my last pregnancy and it never had any complications with DH. The Dr's would tell you if something like that could happen. You already have progesterone in your body during that time of the month anyways. I wish you both the best of luck

maybe it's Great minds fear alike?

Yea, you would think the doctor would have warned if there was any issues with transferring to much to DH. I guess I just worry because they said it was up to me if I wanted to use them, I haven’t shown a need for progesterone, but they said it can’t hurt if I don’t need it. So of course I worry about doing something that I may not have needed in the first place.

I think it would be okay, your Dh wouldn't be exposed to it for extremely long periods of time (unless you are one VERY lucky girl )LOL!!! But a quick call to the nurse at your Dr's office should be able to clear up any confusion. Let us know what you find out!!!
