He said everything looked great. my uterus is back to normal size and my cervix is back closed and normally. Then he told to me to wait to try until i get my next af and wait they whole cycle then after that when i get my second af I can try again. He said he always tells patients to wait however many months they were along so their body can heal. so I was about 2 months along I should wait two cycles. I dont want to wait! Do I have to? I mean what if dh "forgets" to pull out a time or two? ugg dont now what to do
oh just wanted to ad, they did testing on the baby tissue and he said that everything was normal. On one hadnd I wish we knew something more, on the other hand I am glad it was a random miscarriage so I wont be so worried about a recurring problem in the future. It did make me feel much less nervous about trying again.

Yeah its like a curse and a blessing when there was or wasn't something wrong. It all depends on how you spin it. I'm glad it doesn't frustrate you with the answer.
As far as the waiting, I might just ask if there there is an Oops! if that is going to cause any medical issues for you. I would think that is the only worry I would have. I can't think there would be as he's just recommending, but it might give you some peace of mind.

Not sure why they are having you wait...I'd ask, too. But, whenever you TTC again, I wish you the best for a beautiful little sticky bean!!!!

I planned on waiting for 2 AF's before trying agian. Wouldnt that be funny if we all got BFP's around the same time.

Glad your appointment went well Lauren! I agree with Red on asking your doc...but whatever you decide to do (wait or not wait) best of luck to you on getting a BFP soon!

Yay! on a positive Dr's appointment!!! So glad everything is looking good for you. DH and I chose not to wait, but ended up waiting an entire cycle by default- I just didn't get pregnant so we just considered it practice

Great news on doctor's appointment. My doctor gave me no advice on when to try again. So I am going to wait until my next af, but if af is not normal (like really long or short or heavy). I might consider waiting untill the next one. The waiting is hard, but I am trying to use this time to get in the best physical and emotional shape possible. That way when my BFP comes again, I know I did all I could to make it stick. Good Luck, but sorry you have to go through this too.

I'm glad that your appointment went well. It seems like every doctor has varying opinions on when it's okay to TTC again. A friend of mine had a miscarriage and conceived before AF even showed. She got pregnant with twins and two beautiful and healthy baby girls. We waited until AF showed before TTC again. A friend of mine is an OB Nurse Practitioner and she swears there is no link or risk to having another miscarriage and when you TTC after one.
Good luck! I hope you get your BFP!

I'm glad that your appointment went well! I can't really give you any advice on the waiting - if DBF and I were ready, I would definately be trying after one AF, even though we were advised to wait two. *s* It's so hard!
Good luck on whatever you choose to do!! Please KUP

Yay! Glad everything is ok. My doc said we can try in a few cycles too, but hubby is stubborn and well heck so am I. I mean if it were life threatening, he would just have to do without, but that wasn't our case. We're both really active, so we started trying as soon as I was ready, which was about a day or two after I stopped bleeding.
Good Luck to you guys! Sending some dust your way!
