Hi everyone,

Just wanted to update everyone on my post from earlier this week.

We went back for a follow-up ultrasound today. As expected, there was no heartbeat. The baby was smaller than last week - measuring around 5w5d.

After DH and I discussed it with our doctor, we're opting to miscarry naturally vs. doing a D&C. We'll see how it goes, but she said it might take a couple of weeks. If it takes longer than a few, then she wants to go ahead with the D&C.

Surprisingly, DH and I are OK today. We've had a whole week to process the fact that we might be miscarrying, so it made today easier.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words, prayers and support. If you don't mind, I'll be staying around here for a while.
