First, I want to thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers, they were greatly appreciated. I just wish I had been able to make this post a little earlier but I just got home.
This morning started out a little hectic. I woke up with a mild anxiety attack over what the Dr would find. My appointment wasn't until 1 so I had to keep myself busy ALL morning- thank goodness DH was off today so he could help distract me. When I finally got to the Dr's office I had to wait forever (at least it seemed like it) I explained my concern to him and he started to tell me to wait until after my NEXT period (which is 3 weeks away) and come in for a scope so he could look around. At that point I started crying and I just told him that I was so worried and it was causing me a ton of stress. He just looked at me smiled and said "I think we need to do this today". So, within a few minutes I was on the table with a camera in my uterus (it was pretty cool if I have to say so). Guess what he found? NOTHING!!!!! YAY!!!! Everything was PERFECT, my tubes were clear and there wasn't any scarring to be found!!!! What a relief!!! I was sooooo happy to hear (and see for myself) that I am okay. The only minor snag was that this Dr IS NOT a fan of homebirth to say the least and I am not sure if I have ever mentioned to you girls, but my 2nd child was a planned natural homebirth (no complications of course). So there was a little bit of tension over that, but not much and overall he was very nice and very sweet. I am so luck to have gotten in to see him so quickly!!! Even his nurse was shocked that I was in two days after making my appointment.
Once, again thank you ladies for your prayers!!! I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders

Great news!
But I gotta say... homebirths scare the heck out of me. I had 2 completely normal births with my first but if I hadn't been IN a hospital when I delivered my 3rd I would have died. If they had tried to transport me to the hospital that is 5-10 minutes away it would have been too late.
The problem is that things can go so horribly wrong so extremely quickly and there is no guarantee that just because it's gone right before that it will again.
Not trying to tell you what to do, just giving something to think about

Heather,
I've been thinking about you since your original post! As soon as I saw the face beside your post, I thought, "Oh thank goodness!"
I'm so glad that you got good news!

I'm happy to hear that everything is fine. I just had one question - did the doctor say anything about why you are having short periods? I'm just curious.

He said that it may take a few months for my cycle to regulate after the birth. He didn't see any need to do any hormone testing just yet, but probably will if the next few cycles are still off. I don't know how long it took to get back to normal after my first two because I was nursing- as a matter of fact, I didn't have a period for over two years!!! I got pregnant with #2 while I was nursing so I didn't have AF until after #2 was weaned.
Thank you ladies for all of your support!!!!
