Gone to Appt.

Ok, I'm about to head out, I will update (w/probably not too much info) when I return =)

*UPDATE*:
Well, there was def. 2 dark lines! Funny b/c back in Dec. when I went for my PG test I was 4wks, 6 days and the line, we could see but it was kind of light. Today I'm 4 wks, 4 days and the line was REALLY dark! I take that as a good sign.

Doc was OVERALLY excited! He said "I'm glad ya'll didn't wait" haha! I was scared, I didn't know what he wanted me to do. So, I asked when he wanted to start my HCG levels, he said lets do one today and another in two weeks, we started walking to get todays and he says "You know what, lets not chase them this time" Lets just let it be and not worry this time. So, no chasing this time. So, I then ask about the 1st u/s he said lets wait a month for that as well. SOOOO -- looks like I'll be doing lots of waiting, which I'm ok with. I think that may be for the best anyways. I'm going to try and schedule the 1st u/s for March 26th which will be exactly 8 weeks.

Any ways, there you have it my 1st appt

Congratulations on a good appointment. It sounds like you are in good hands, as your doctor seems very supportive and positive.

Yay Jae! Glad it was a good 1st appt! I agree with the "not chasing" strategy...most important thing is for you to try to relax and not stress (at least as much as you can!) and before you know it it'll be 1st u/s time!!

Sounds like a great appointment. I very happy he was so excited. And, with my 1st three PGs I never had beta hcgs done. Didn't even know about them. We checked everything last time, partially because of my age, and it became a source of stress. Knowing the numbers didn't change the outcome. So, this time I haven't had any bloodwork done. my appointment is Thursday. Maybe they'll do some then? I know they'll do an u/s. They got a new probe. NO, I did NOT break the one that was replaced!!!

Let's hope my appointment goes as well as yours! And you can spend your time waiting for your appt right here with us! We'll get you through the wait! :biggrin:

LOL I am so happy that he was excited for you!! Sound like he is going to do a great job with helping you manage stress through this pregnancy!!! Seems like you are in great hands.

haha yeah!!! he's my moms Dr. plus my aunt (who is his son's wife) he delivered both their kids. At the very begining it's weird, but then you get past that and how he acts with you is more so like a Dr than a G'dad so that helps. It really doen'st bother me. He's been doing this for 40+ years. He's supposed to retire in December -- How lucky did I get

Yay Jae! I'm so excited for you. I think its actually better that you aren't stressing over numbers and waiting for things to see. I mean just think of how relaxing it will be and just think how excited you will be in a month where you will actually be able to see something!
