I am on CD 12 and I just started getting some sharp pains on both sides. Does this sound like O pains? I have never experienced this before prob because I never really payed this much attention to what my body is doing. I am using OPK's but they have been negative. I took one about 3 hours ago. Should I take another one? Would I get a positive if this is O pain??
It feels like tiny pinches, or being poked with a pin (not hard though!) Some people feel it, some don't. For some it depends on the cycle. I hope it is!
For me, it's very sharp pains. Especially when I O on my right. My O pains even happen high on my right side and in my back very similar to kidney pain. I had numerous ultrasounds and CT scans of my kidneys to try to figure out what the pain was and then I realized it was happening every other month right around ovulation!

Hi. I don't ovulate often so when I do I really notice. I'm pretty sure that I did a last weekend. Got a sharp pain just to the right of my belly button but lower.

When I O I do get sharp pains in the ovary area, but my uterus is also very sensitive that day. It's really hard to explain, but sometimes I can't even sit. It makes it really hard to do the deed, even though that's the best time, cause I'm in so much pain. I think I'll start taking Advil from now on.
