Hi Lynda I actually bled for 13 days but from what I have read on this board, most ladies bleed for about 4-10 days.

I bleed for almost 3 weeks with my first. At times it was like the heaviest day of your period then it would taper off and then start again. The worst of the cramps were gone by the middle of the second week.

I had about a day or two of spotting and light bleeding, followed by a day and a half of really heavy bleeding which tapered off to AF like bleeding for 2 days. I then had some spotting for about 3 days. I would say just over a week or so.

I bled for about a week, then a few days of spotting. It peaked about the third day, then was like a period.

I spotted a week before the actual miscarriage, then bled for a week then spotted for about 10 days. Yep, that's right 17 days of bleeding after the miscarriage. I thought it would never end.

I began spotting on a Thursday and had the worst on Saturday and Sunday. It was completely over by the following Tuesday...so a total of 6 days. {{{HUGS}}}

Lynda,
After my m/c I bled for about five days. It was just like my period. I have not yet had my first AF.
Hope this helps!

For me it was about a week. Somewhere between 5 days and 8 days for each. Mine were all before 6 weeks, so I don't know if that makes any difference.

I had spotting for about 4 days before, heavy bleeding for two days, it was period-like for about 4 days, and then spotting for 3. Its interesting to see how different everyones experiences are.

I bled for what seemed to be a regular period, with heavier flow and extremely horrible cramps.
I m/c on the 15th and bled til the 18th. So...4 days!

I don't know if this helps, but I bled for 11 days, then spotted for another 11 days. I then spotted on and off through my first cycle. I hope it stops soon for you!

My miscarriage last May was early; 4 weeks 6 days. But, I began bleeding the morning of May 25 and by May 30 there was no more. I got pregnant about a week later, so I actually think the bleeding was more of a period and not so much my shedding??? Who knows! Sometimes this stuff is confusing.

Hey, Lynda! im beginning to think my body is crazy too. I bled for 7 days, then very very light spotting for 7 days, then it came back and now it has been 9 days of bleeding with one of them being super super heavy. It's crazy to see how everyone's body is different! I hope yours stops for good soon and you can be done with this part of the wait!!

I bled for 8 days and had about 4-5 days spotting before that. My RE told me that it can take up to 4-6 weeks for some to complete a MC.
