Help Me, PLEASE

I have a memory card in my camera that had- yes HAD pictures from my trip to El Salvador and also pics from work ( I work in and Irish Pub in downtown Boston) yesterday. I went to pick df Nelson up from work. His nephew was looking at the pics. When we got home, I came straight to the computer to download them. Somehow, while df's nephew was looking at the pics, he deleted them. They are nowhere!!! I am crying. The reason being that, last year, we went to El Salvador, and it was df's first time seeing his mom in 14 years. I took tons of pictures and the camera got lost. So, if there is no way to recover these pictures, I will be absolutely devistated. I am losing it as I type this. Please, help me if you can. Thanks.

I have no idea either. I'm in the same boat right now. My apple computer had an accident (it fell on our hardwoods) and it's being fixed right now. They are "trying" to recover the pics. I have at least one pic a day of Wyatt since he was born and our honeymoon pics on there. I cried. Good luck!!

OMG Heather, I'm so sorry! Try the photgraphy board, and as soon as DH (computer geek) gets home today I will ask him if he knows how to retrieve them.

Just a thought, does it have a trash icon on it? Maybe they are still in there?

Call the manufacturer of the memory card and ask them if there are any recovery tricks you can use to get them back.

I think there is some software you can buy to recover the photos. I'm sorry, I don't have more details. My uncle is a wedding photographer and I know he has something that can retrieve photos, but he's in the hospital right now so I can't ask. Good luck, I hope you get them back!
