So i can't lie to my TTCAL girls, i'm WORRIED! I had some spotting last night that was pink & then red (not a lot, but very noticible when wiping)...and as some of you already know got a mixed result testing yesterday - nice "pregnant" from the digi, a really really really weak line on the FRER (which was from different box than the 9DPO stick)

I woke up super early (5:30am!) to temp (yes, i'm a charting addict ) and took another FRER - this would be approx 12 hours after the one I took yesteday at DPO10 - frankly, the result was about the same...very very faint line.

So anyway, here's the pics from all days of testing...and I'll test again tonight and post result.

And the digi at DPO10:

Hmm. To me, the 11dpo test looks a little darker. It is still really early (I think FRER tests only predict a positive result for 25% of pregnancies this early), so I would try not to worry yet.

A line is still a line, no matter how faint.

It's still very early, try not to compare! There is hcg in your system, woohoo! Are you going to get a blood test?

I don't think so - my OB doesn't generally have 1st appt until 8-9weeks for the dating u/s. I am going to call them to see if it's difference since i'm coming off a m/c...maybe do a blood test...I unfortunately have to travel for work Wed-Thur next week, so probably wouldn't be able to get in before Friday - and my FRERs better be darker by then

Hcg takes 2-3 days to double. Your tests were taken pretty close together. They don't look significantly lighter to me (and I even blew up the dpo10 and dpo 11 tests so that they were the same size as the dpo 9 test so I could do a side by side comparison...I'm crazy, I know ) I would get a new box of tests and try again in the AM. When you said a very, very faint line, I was picturing a line that I had to squint at and move my computer screen around to see...those aren't faint. dpo 11 test is the same if not a little darker. How's the spotting? Hang in there...big HUGS!!!

Try to remember too that every HPT may vary in its sensitivity a little. With my first pregancy, I think it took till about 15-16dpo for the FRER tests to get darker and I had a healthy pregnancy. The timing and amount of spotting you had sounds like implantation bleeding to me. The positive digi is a good sign, but I hope your tests get darker soon so you can relax some.

Kelty...well i say they're faint b/c with the 9DPO the line showed w/in a minute and was full strength (if faint) by 3. With the DPO10 & 11 tests...there was nothing w/in 2-3 minutes and then the lines eventually showed kinda within 5 minutes. I'll try to keep in mind that it's only been 36 hours since the first time i tested at DPO9, so maybe hcg hasn't increased enough to effectively obsess over line darkness

No additional spotting yet today...but now i'm terrified to wipe

9 and 10 DPO were both around 5:30pm...the 11DPO was FMU (frankly it seemed the least concentrated urine...i usually get better results in the evening)

I took 12 different test a week ago to confirm a BFP- ALL of the FMU's were lighter than the one's I took later in the day. So don't worry about that, I don't think that FMU is as concentrated as we would like to think They look like good strong BF's to me, but I know exactly what you are talking about when you say you are afraid to wipe!! ANY little tiny bit of moisture "down there" sends me running straight for the bathroom and the whole time I am praying 'please be okay, please be okay'. The crazy thing is that I had the same spotting that you are having with all 3 of my pregnancies!!! I know it would probably be okay, but it is just too stressful this time. I would call the dr and ask if they would see you early just to ease your mind. Be sure to let us know how you are progressing!!!

Go pick up Twilight, a bag of munchies, some chocolate, and a billion tests and have a great afternoon watching sparkly sexy vampires, eating junk food on the couch, and POAS. I would seriously try a different brand! And, see what afternoon urine does... (Yes, my prescription gets more detailed as the day goes on...)

I understand what you are going through when You say you are afraid to wipe. I am the same way. I am now 13 dpo and I have still been getting BFN but I feel like I may be pregnant according to symptoms I am noticing that are similar the symptoms I had with my last pregnancy and every time I go to the bathroom I am afraid of seeing blood and If I feel the least bit of moisture I run to the bathroom to make sure I am not bleeding. Unfortunately my last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I started bleeding and miscarrying the very day I found out I was pregnant so I understand your anxiety. Your 11 Dpo Test looks darker to me then the rest of them. The digi is great cause I hear it is hard to get a positive on them. I HOpe that your OB/Gyn will let you come in sooner because I think that will ease your mind. I hope every thing turns our well and you have a Healthy and happy 9 months. Let us know if you test again and keep us posted on what your Dr says.

I have always heard that FMU is better because it isnt as diluted with liquids at evening urine is, Should I start testing of the evening instead of the mornings?

Kelty has the BEST plan of all!! I woke up to Twilight on my nightstand...Dh went to Walmart for the midnight release and bought it for me...(I know...*swoon* right!? )

Do NOT and I repeat do NOT keep testing with line tests as an indicator for increasing hCG...dye SUCKS...every test has a diff amount...even ones from the same box with the same stock number...if you INSIST on peeing on a stick...then spend a few extra bucks and get the 5-pack CBE digi pack...as long as you are still seeing PREGNANT...you are GOLDEN!

Even after my 2 losses my doc still didn't do a quant test...she did a simple qual to get me in her system...and then did an u/s at around 5-6 weeks...

Just remember...you have ALL of us praying for you!!!

ok ok you ladies are GREAT - i'm convinced i'm needlessly obsessing today! I think i'll cling to the digi since that's the most positive one anyway!

And Kelty, that is seriously an AWESOME plan for distracting me tonight...hrmm...now just how to convince DH that he should rent a chick flick tonight...
