well girls AF showed today im not sure how to feel about that. see this is not just another month of doing the same thing and hoping it worked...I thought for sure we got it right this cycle because if you remember froma few weeks ago I posted about my eggwhite cm and it was earlier then expected so we BD for like 2 weeks straight before and after the cm so I know we hit ovulation. I just don't get it. I don't understand how I did not get pregnant. I mean it really blows my mind. To top it all off no DR will give me answers. Im now seeing yet another Dr who still says your not infertile just taking longer to concieve. I cant just say ok its taking long...i dont believe that a healthy 21 year old like myself should be "taking long" all the other people in my age group seem to be doing just fine...getting preggers when they are not trying even but me not so much. I dont understand why they wont do testing for me or anything..it makes me so mad..if there is a problem i want to know and fix it not when im 40 and wasted 20 years trying something that doesnt work. sorry for going on and on but im so upset and the only thing anybody will tell me is " it will happen" or "in Gods time" or the great " dont try so hard" most of these come from my mother inlaw who had 5 kids and all but 1 was an OOPS! so whatever. Thanks girls for the support..I love you all

It may help if you tell your MIL to shove it!!! That would make me feel better I hate it when people offer you their words of wisdom. They just have no idea what it is like to be in our shoes. You worry you can't get pregnant, then when you do you worry you wont stay that way. It's horribly frustrating, scary and disappointing. Have you ever talked with your Dr about clomid or something similar??? Anything to make your chance of concieving higher. Possibly even testing for PCOS?? I know I would feel better if they were at least TRYING to find a reason. I hope you get to feeling more optimistic soon. This is a hard journey to travel, at least you have us to vent to when you need it!

{{{{{hugs}}}}} How long have you been ttc? Others just don't understand. It is a small consolation to remember that each cycle, you only have a 20-25% chance of conceiving. And stress can lower that percentage. I know exactly how you feel. You should really say something to your mil. She is making it worse. Just want you to know that you are not alone. I hope it happens VERY soon .

I'm sorry about AF, hon

How insensitive of your MIL! Maybe you need to ask her to keep her nose out of your babymaking business You don't need any additional stress right now.

I agree with Heather about fighting for further testing. I know that it's frustrating and a lot of waiting and work, but your doctor should be working WITH you, not against you...so keep looking until you find one who is willing to do that.

Good luck, hon. *HUGS*

Steph,

I'm so sorry AF came!!!

I'm 21 too, and trust me when I tell you...."taking longer to conceive" wouldn't fly with me either!

I'm sorry for AF showing. You need to force the issue with the dr. Everything I have read it's 1 year and then they start testing. Sometimes you just have to be extremely PUSHY!!!!

I'm sorry it didn't work this time. People don't really understand unless they are in your shoes. Have you ever considered having your SO tested to see if his sperm count is okay. We always assume it's the woman that is having the problem. Sometimes it's not our fault. If you have been trying for a while, it might be a good idea to get a doctor to check both of you out to see what your cycle is like etc. Good luck and hopefully you will get your BFP soon!

I'm so sorry AF showed. You must be so frustrated. And, people surrounding you seem to be hurting more than helping. I think people just don't know what to say, so they say something that just turns out wrong...

Anyway, I don't know if you temp or if you use OPKs, but, they were really a big help to me this time around. My cycle actually changed after my m/c. I would have potentially missed Oing had I not been using the OPKs and the BBT. Now, I'll grant you the fact that both of those can become obsessions. But, if it helps you initially figure out your cycle, then use it for a while and then stop. Using those two tools, along with monitoring your CM will allow you to take more control of the situation and if the doctor wants specifics about your cycle, you'll have them. Just a suggestion.
I hope the next cycle is the one you're waiting for...here's a little prayer for a BFP heading your way!!!
