My beta rose form 241 to 4036 in 7 days. From my calculations that is more than doubling every 48 hours. So I haven't talked to the doctor yet, but I think I have to be pregnant again. I do not see how this can be retained tissue from my last miscarriage. I feel very relieved for now, but trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Oh man, my doctor's office is the slowest office on the planet. I mean who has to wait 2 weeks to confirm a pregnancy. The nurse said the doctor hasn't had time to review the labs yet, but the doctor will call me with instructions later today. Its 4:30 and I still haven't heard from them yet! I mean this blood was drawn last Thursday, and I don't think interpreting them is rocket science.

Keep calling them and annoy the crap out of them until they call you back!!

Those are GREAT numbers, I used the JM HCG calculator and you are doubling every 41.3 hours, that is GREAT!
I have been thinking about you Dinah, I am hoping this is a healthy pregnancy for you.
About your OB's office, I had to change offices due to similar problems, I was scared to change and I also left an office that had in house top-of-the-line ultrasound machines and their own tech, but I am so much happier now to have an office that takes care of me in a timely manner.

Great numbers! I can't believe the way you have to wait for your dr. Is switching offices an option?
