I know all the ladies in chat were notified last night..but I wanted to post it here as well..
I said BRB due to a phone call, and ended up basically not getting any sleep because my girl was bawling her eyes out. Her mom kicked her and her near 2 month old daughter out. She's packing her stuff as we speak...she's going to stay at various people's houses until her and her boyfriend's apartment is ready for June 1st.
I feel so incredibly helpless right now, as I can't help her. I mean I can buy her things she needs, but, what she needs is her mother and a steady place to stay. My mom even said "if it was just her, no problem..but a baby too? You get up for work early, what if the baby is crying all night?" And that's the main reason as to why she's not staying with her b/f right now, because his job requires him to STAY alert all shift.
Anyway...all I'm asking is that some prayers are said for her. She doesn't deserve this at all!!!

I'll definitely say some prayers. I've been in her shoes, only I had a 1 year old and a 4 year old. I know how hard it can be.

I didn't get your BBM until this morning...I wasn't on chat much later than you...me, Kelty and Lara were the only "oldies" in the room so we ended up PMing each other most of the time...
I'm sooo sorry to hear your friend is going through this...are there any Women's & Children's shelters near by?...We have a few here that aren't for only battered women...they mostly just want to make sure the children have a roof over their head...

There are women clinics here that will help. I'm sure Canada has to have some too.
She will be in my T&P's!

Sorry your friend is going through a rough time. Isn't there a women's shelter she can go to for a little while? Hope everything works out. I will be thinking of her.

Oh Jess, my heart goes out to your friend and her little one. Man, that's rough. I can't imagine. She is definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she is able to rectify the problems with her mom so that the stability she and her child needs is available to her again. I can't imagine, as a mom, telling my daughter and my grandaughter to leave. Wow... KUP! You're a good friend, Jess. She's lucky to have you.

So.. a little update on her...
Last night she stayed with her b/f. The baby did amazingly well during the night, went to sleep at 12, got up at 5, went back to sleep at 5:30, back up again at 9am. She was up so late because her daddy fed her and then wouldn't let her sleep! 
Right now, she's sitting down talking to her mom about stuff. That was her mother's suggestion, my girl is so hurt by this, it's not even funny. She managed to get her friend to drive her back to her mom's to grab the baby's big stuff like her swing and playpen, so she can leave them at her b/f's place for now...incase her mom decides to go crazy and throw it out or destroy it.
So...that's the update!!! Please continue to keep her in your thoughts!!! It's much appreciated!!
