LADIES!
I'm flipping out!
Ok. I need to vent.
I didn't want to test again, because I know a BFN would devestate me when I' late for my period. But yesterday, after all the pushing, I was on the bus riding home and I said to myself, "if the guy next to me gets up at the stop with the pharmacy, i'll get up and get a test. Well, we get to the pharmacy, and he hasn't budged. And then all of a sudden he flies up out of his seat. And I was like.. "Whoa... I gotta go too then!" So I went into the pharmacy, and the CHEAPEST test they had was $8. Since I just bought 20 HPTS on line that haven't arrived yet, I couldn't justify it. Besides, DH would catch me. So I chickened out and walked home. I passed this yoga studio, where I wanted to take pregnancy yoga during my last pregnancy. What do you know - that's what class was going on! At this point, I'm loosing it.
I was so exhausted last night, I went to bed early. This morning, much to my surprise, my temp is still crazy high. I'm either sick or pregnant. I'm afraid to find out which.
So I convince myself to pick up a cheap test this morning while I wait for the other ones to come in the mail. I go to the grocery store and find a $5 test. Score! I got to work and went to a basement bathroom and POAS....
AND WOULNT YOU KNOW IT! The test MALFUNCTIONS! AHHHHHHHHHHHH
This big pink blob in the control window appears, but no line... and NOTHING in the results. I was like great. Now I had no idea. So of course, I rip the thing apart and analyze it, and I don't see anything. So then I start pushing on the sponges to force the pee onto strip. (gross, I know). I faintly see a line. I give up though, because now I know the test is invalid and ive just destroyed what little integrity it had. So I put it in my purse. I get to my desk, check on it, and its a BLARING POSTIVE. Of course, now I've ripped the test to pieces, and it means nothing, right?
I really really dont have the heart for a BFN. I know I should just wait a few more days, because then I won't even NEED a HPT to tell me I'm preggos or not. But really, this is just too much! I'm glad you girls are here to listen, because DH tells me I'm just impatient!

What a PIA!!!! That is crazy and horribly frustrating!!!! I hope you get the other tests in the mail very soon!!! When did you arder them? Mine always came pretty fast when I ordered them.

I ordered them Friday. Hopefully they're here by the end of the week! Of course, by then I'll know either way.  I wouldn't be such a stinge, but we close on a house a week from today, and it's not the time for me to be throwing money out the window when I'm only a few days away from knowing the result and we've got so much to do for the house in the next month.
I guess you will all need to be in suspense with me! Thanks for listening to my rant!

That is a pain. My friend's mom had a test do that and she actually returned it to the store for a full refund. What's even crazy is they gave her her money back no questions asked. LOL

OMG totaly unfair!!
I really hope the test was just really slow and it was right in the end!!
maybe the tests will be there when you get home today and you can test tonight!!

Wow - your much more patient than me...I would have gone right to the store and bought another  Congrats on your new house (hopefully you'll have a baby to put in it in 8-9 months!)

Aw thanks Red ! And thanks everyone else for the support.... no... no dollar store within walking distance and I don't drive to work every day. It's OK. If my tests don't come in by Thursday and AF isn't here, I'll know my pregnant, and I promise a Digi!
oh! DH just told me the tests get home! i'll go finish work up and poas and update you all!
