TTC and Tax Time... AWESOME!!

Okay, i finally sat down to do my taxes tonight (DH is self-employed and we always have to pay so I do them kind of late). Anyway, because some of our deductions can be really confusing and the IRS LOVES to change the rules, I always go to the IRS office and get the books. Then I sit down and go through them to see what any chages were for the last tax year. By doing this I usually find several additional writeoffs from the year before. WELL>>>> This year (2008) there is something new!!!

YOU CAN NOW WRITE OFF HPT'S AS MEDICAL EXPENSES!!!!!

WHOOO HOOOO!!! I hope I kept all of my receipts

I wonder if the IRS will accept all of the pictures of my used HPT's as proof of purchase?? If not I can always save that Ziploc bag FULL of them a little longer!!!

I just wanted to share this with you ladies, just in case some of you haven't filed yet!!!

I cannot believe that! That is hilarious! Sadly, though, I did not save all my receipts. Besides, then I would have to admit to DH how much I have spent on them!

Wow! Hilarious! And no offense, but judging from your latest collection, I would love to see the IRS' face when they see that amount! that's just so funny...

Oh I wish I had known that! When I think of how much I could have written off last year.....WOW!!! I will definitely have to save all my receipts this year.

LOL! We have a health savings account with a credit card. I've been buying all mine with that. When the final invoice comes to show what went where I wonder how much went on HPT's and OPK's. Probably too much!
